Chapter 3 The others

I'm sorry for the late update :( Life has been busy so there was no time to write.

I'm sorry if there are any grammar mistakes but I didn't really proof read this chapter. I also think it's a bit short so also sorry for that. Besides that I have the feeling it's a bit boring so I'm trying to build the plot up a bit faster maybe to make it more exciting.

Woojin led Chan and Felix to a big storage room that was connected to what Woojin called Changbin's 'office'. In the storage room were some old arcade games installed and a group of boys, probably around the same age as Felix, were playing the old games. "I swear Jisung! Shoot me one more time and I will really hurt you!" A boy with reddish hair yelled. The boy beside him laughed and started to purposely shoot at the other, earning a smack to the head. Another boy with braces and black hair giggled and watched the other two bicker. Woojin sighs and clears his throat. All three boys turn around and the one who had shot the other on purpose gulps. "Boys what did I tell you about bickering?" "That we should not do it because it could turn out bad because of our powers." The boy with the braces said. Woojin smiles and nods. "Now I want the three of you to meet some new people," The bear hybrid stepped aside and pointed at the two brothers behind him, "This are Chan and Felix. They just got here. I suggest you guys hang out with them and show them how fun it actually is around here." Woojin than turned to Felix and smiles. "I think you will get along with them really well Felix. They are around the same age as you. The boy with brown hair is Jisung or Han. You can call him both those names. He's 18 just like you Felix and please don't be surprised if he starts flirting with you. It's who he is." "Hey! I can hear you, ya know." Jisung protested and puffed up his cheeks. Woojin shakes his head and points at the boy with the reddish hair. "That is Seungmin. He's 18 as well. He is like a puppy yet can be very rude from time to time." Seungmin starts pouting and looks at Woojin. "Hyung that I'm a wolf doesn't mean I'm a puppy!" "You're my puppy since I take care of you. Now shush." Woojin smiles at the younger, who just continues to pout. "And the last one is Jeongin. Jeongin is the youngest around here with being 17 years old." Jeongin shyly waved at Chan and Felix, earning a wave from Felix back, making the youngest smile. At that moment Minho walks in, followed by a taller guy with black hair. The boy smiles at the two newcomers. "And the guy who just came in with Minho is Hyunjin, Changbin's right hand and Minho's little brother. He's 18 like Jisung, Seungmin and you Felix." Chan looks at the pleased face his little brother is making, feeling at least a bit happy that Felix is smiling again. The vampire than turns his attention back to the others. "Mind asking me how old you are Minho? And what about Changbin?" He asks. Minho smiles slightly, almost in a flirty way. "Why do you want to know vampire boy." Chan rolls his eyes and clenches his fists again. "It's because I want you all to address me properly if I'm your hyung." Minho sighs and holds up two fingers. "I'm 20. Changbin is actually 19. But don't expect him or me to call you hyung. Cuz here I'm above you and Changbin, as our leader, won't let you feel better or in a higher position than him." Woojin sighs and puts a hand on Minho's shoulder. "Minho, be nice." Hyunjin, who had stayed silent while his older brother was ranting, walked up to Chan and put out his hand, smiling. "I'm Hyunjin. Nice to meet you hyung. If you need anything please tell me." Chan took the others hand and nods. "Nice to meet you as well. I'm Felix!" The freckled boy says, budding into the small conversation between Hyunjin and Chan, and smiles at the taller. Hyunjin smiles back at the cute boy. "I hope you will feel at home. Now if you don't mind you can join us. We will have a small tournament on some of the games here." The tall boy said while looking at Felix. The freckled boy nods and smiles, looking over to his older brother to see if he's okay with it as well. Chan nods and smiles slightly at his younger brother. The older than turns to Woojin and Minho. "Mind showing me around some more? And maybe tell more about this place?" He asks, earning a nod from the bear hybrid. Chan looks over to Felix one more time, watching as his younger brother starts to play a shooting game against Hyunjin. He then leaves with the boys who had brought him here, hoping to be led to his room as soon as possible to take a nap. Or maybe he could ask Woojin to answer some of his questions.

Felix cheers as he beats Hyunjin in the first round, earning an applause from Jeongin, Seungmin and Jisung. Hyunjin pouts and looks at Seungmin and Jeongin. "You're not going to comfort your hyung who just lost?" Seungmin just shakes his head and continues to cheer for Felix, while Jeongin giggles and hugs Hyunjin. "You did okay Hyung. Maybe one day you will beat Felix hyung." Hyunjin smiles and ruffles the youngest his hair. Jisung chuckles as he watches the two. He then looks at Felix. "Say Felix. Let's interrupt our tournament and let's have a talk shall we? We have this hangout with nice seats and lots of food and drinks. How about we sit over there?" The freckled boy nods and follows Jisung as the smaller walks to a sliding door, the rest of the group following. Felix sat down on a seat that was attached to the ceiling, falling back into the pillows it had on it. Seungmin chuckles and takes a seat opposite of the newcomer, Hyunjin and Jeongin on either side of him. Jisung just threw some pillows on the ground and laid down on them. The smallest of them all smirks slightly. "So Felix. How about you tell something about yourself and we will tell you everything you want to know after." Felix nods and gulps slightly. "Well ehm I'm Lee Felix. I'm 18 years old. I got kicked out of District 8 because I helped Chan laying low because he is a vampire. I'm just a human but I find hybrids very interesting." The last part made the other four straighten up. "What do you actually think about hybrids?" Seungmin asks, slightly gripping onto the side of his chair. "I most of the time like their personalities and I think it's very funny how it almost always matches with what kind of hybrid they are. Why are you asking? Is there a problem with me liking hybrids? I thought there wouldn't be a problem because Woojin hyung is a hybrid and you guys seem very close and and and...." "It's okay hyung! We do not have a problem with hybrids at all! It's just because we don't like people who are against the hybrids." Jeongin said, making Felix raise his eyebrow. Jisung chuckles and points at the three behind him. "These three are hybrids themselves." Hyunjin rolls his eyes. "I rather call it Grim or Black dog." Jeongin nods and smiles brightly as suddenly two ears pop up on his head. "My nickname is actually fennec fox because not only do I look like one when I'm in my human form, it's kind of what kind of hybrid I am." Seungmin just smiles, showing fangs. "Seungmin is a descendant from the Fenrir, also known as the father of the wolves. It's really funny to see him struggle when it's around the time for a full moon." Jisung says and smiles. "But what are you Jisung? Because I don't get the feeling you're a human like me." Felix asks, earning a smirk from the smaller boy on the floor. "I am a demon. A very friendly one." "And a flirty one." Hyunjin adds, earning a smack against his legs. "Wait really? I thought he was a squirrel or something." The new boy said, eyes wide from the small shock. Jisung pouts and puffs up his cheeks. "I'm not a squirrel!" "You do look like one tho, hyung." The youngest of the group smirks as he says it. "Yah! Yang Jeongin, do you want to get your ass beat? I swear call me a squirrel one more time and I will throw you all off of the roof!" Jisung pouts again and crosses his arms, looking away from the group. Felix chuckles and looks at the four boys around him. 'They really seem close. It's kind of nice to have that I guess.' The freckled boy thinks. Seungmin then gets up and smiles. "Come on Felix. Let's show you around some more!" This made the others get up as well, following the wolf like hybrid out of the room.
