The stars hanging in the night sky twinkled and shone on the lone figure of Mimi Yamayuki.
She sat on the grass, her face illuminated by the bright light of the moon peeping through the clouds. Her hands were clutched to her heart as she looked up happily at the forever shining night light that hung brightly in the sky.
Her eyes turned towards the stars, and she whispers the nine words she wishes every night - 'Oh, please let me go to space. Oh, please...'
The moon smiles down at her anxious face, so innocent and childlike. Mimi's soul filled with hope, she shuffled back to bed and cuddled up in the covers, dreaming of staring out at outer space from the window of a spaceship.
