He said and walked over to a door at the side of the glass and held it open. "Go on in and through the door at the end of the room." Cloud got up and walked slowly to the door and into something that resembled the control room of an airport. A dozen people sitting around computers in front of a big window showing Hazel in her room. He walked to the door and rested his hand on the handle and he felt a sharp pain at the back of his neck. He spun around but saw nothing unusual and rubbed the back of his neck. Nothing weird there either. He turned and opened the door and had barely stepped inside when he was rushed by something small and golden brown. He thought it was a hug when she wrapped her hands around him until he felt her start squeezing and he could've sworn he heard his bones creak and groan from the stress. Or was that just the door closing? He flexed his muscles and tried to prise her hands apart before she managed to lock them behind his back, then he'd be in some serious trouble. He managed to slip out from her grip and dropped to his knees and roll backward before getting tackled again. Was she always this fast? He pushed on her stomach and managed to throw her off before she turned around and rushed him again.

He was prepared for her this time though. He fell backward when she lunged and used his foot to guide her over his head and turned to face her. She landed and spun around to face him, and they growled at each other before Cloud's eyes glowed red and his growl became deeper. He advanced on her growling deeply, but she kept her ground and growled straight into his face. They both stopped and stared at each other for a while before they both hugged and Cloud started crying.

"I thought I was the one who was supposed to cry in situations like this," Hazel said, tearing up herself.

"Shut up asshat," Cloud said and hugged her tighter. They hugged for a few moments longer before Cloud pulled away and cupped her face. "Jesus, I missed you."

Just as he said that guards rushed into the room through the door, their weapons aimed and humming, signaling that they were fully loaded. Cloud shielded her with his body, but she turned to press her back against his and to face the guards that were trying to flank them. "You know I can defend myself, right?"

"Yeah, I'm aware," He said slowly looking at all the guards. "Just try not to get shot."

"Worry about yourself," she said and bared her fangs at a guard. That's when it happened. All she heard was a gunshot and she turned her head to see where it came from when she saw it hit cloud directly in the chest and she watched him fall to the ground and lay there. He didn't get up. He didn't twitch. She couldn't even hear his breath over all the humming in the room. She fell to her knees and looked at his lifeless body as it stared blankly into space, a shadow of the smile he was wearing on his face.

"As I'm sure you know, normal bullets can't kill him, so I made sure to infuse these bullets with wolfsbane. As soon as it gets to his heart...well, let's just say he won't be waking up. Drag his body out, looking at it is making me sick." The guards jostled Hazel from Cloud's body and grabbed him by his ankles and dragged him out of the room. The remainder of the guards filed out of the room followed by Eugene.

"How could you? He was your son," Hazel said, trembling. "How could you murder your own son?" Eugene smiled and turned to her.

"No son of mine would've been killed by something like that."
