A/n: boop
"I can't believe Rachel got suspended..." Was the topic that flowed throughout the interior of the bus full of girl scouts.
Aeni, a hardcore K-pop fan was attempting to present her favorite band to her best friend Bulma, but it wasn't working out for her. "Come on... Just one song!"
Bulma shakes her head blocking the booming earbuds from her ears, "I'm not listening to that nonsense, you can't make me! Snackalicious, delicious, delete."
Aeni paused for a moment and sighed, "That doesn't make any sense."
"It makes as much sense as that music you listen to." Bulma huffs attempting to plug in her own earbuds into her ears. Aeni puffed out her cheeks in frustration, a single hand reaching to unplug her friend's earbuds from her phone. "Wh- stop that!" Bulma slapped her hand away quickly, and they both frowned at each other before bursting into a fit of giggles.
"Hey, Bulma, wasn't Rachel a friend of yours? What do you think about her suspension?"
Upon hearing her name, her green eyes flicked up to meet those of Sophie, a fellow scout. "Oh, Rachel? Honestly, I don't think that she deserved to be suspended," She shrugged, her voice thoughtful. "Expulsion would have been a better punishment." She smirked, causing a few of the other girls to gasp. Aeni nodded in agreement.
"Snack dealing is against the rules, everyone knows that. It's been that way since the obesity numbers in America hit 50 percent." The dark-haired girl mumbled, and a few girls murmured amongst themselves in agreement. The conversation lasted for a few more minutes, eventually shifting away from the pair. "Buullllmmaaaa! One song!" Aeni had started to beg, becoming desperate. "Ann, if I listen to one song, will you never bother me about this again?" Bulma sighed after a moment. "I..I will do my best to never bring up the topic for as long as you hate it."
"Deal." And with that, they shook on it.
Ann was bouncing with excitement, her eyes never leaving Bulma's face as she listened to ______. Bulma's expression was neutral, and occasionally she nodded as if she was taking note of something. Towards the end of the song, Bulma pulled out one of the earbuds. "Well?" Aeni questioned, her eyes sparkling with hope.
"...I-"
Aeni let out a small squeal.
"I hated it."
"W...Well." Aeni puffed out her cheeks once more. "At least you were honest. You are being honest, right?" She raised a skeptical eyebrow at Bulma, who simply smiled. "I have no reason to lie, Ann."
Before Ann could respond, their troop leader got on the bus speaker. "Alright girls, we're almost to the LaQuinta Hotel! When we get there, make sure that you stay with your roommate, because they are also your travel buddy. Got it?"
A chorus of "Yes ma'am" rolled from the scouts.
"About time, I really can't wait to start the project!" Bulma clapped her hands excitedly. "Yeah, I can't believe our troop somehow managed to raise the most money for the flood that happened here. And now, we get to help rebuild houses!" Aeni grinned, looking out of the bus window as it slowly rolled to a stop.
