V - mom I still can't believe Carter left me.
H - Victoria we both know that Carter has a lot of issues and I know that he loves you to death.
V - I just miss him so much mom I just can't handle being heartbroken.
H - Victoria I know but you will get over it Mija. Now get dressed we been invited to the Van Der Bilt family reunion.
V - okay mom and it's time for my come back.
H - okay Mija goes get ready and don't forget that you are a beautiful girl who servers everything.

We pulled up and were greeted by many classy people. I'm gonna love my freaking come back.

I looked around and see the whole little group mingling I just decided not to talk to them but not yet though.

I was minding my own business drinking some champagne into the wonderful Tripp Van Der Bilt comes up to me.

T - Victoria. Hey. Hey.

-he side hugs me-

V - Tripp. Looks like you're having fun.
T - top shelf all the way. I heard you were in a relationship with Carter Baizen.
V - yea I think I was but he is gone now though. how you been haven't seen you in so long.
T - oh and I been great missed you around here.
V - me too but I'm glad to be here quick question who that girl with Nate.
T - some girl named Vanessa. Why?
V - no just wondering and I'll talk to you, later on, I got something to do.
T - yea, great seeing you again Victoria.

I decided to mess up their little romance just for my own well being of excitement I have left.

It looks like they are arguing and I decided to make myself known to them.
V - Nathaniel.

N - Victoria. Hey, what are you doing here?
-he looked so confused-
V - I decided to come to see you Nate and to let you know that Carter left me are you finally happy and to let you know that I'm single now.
Vanessa - excuse me who are you?
V - oh that's right your new here, hi I'm Victoria Starling aka the princess of the upper east side and which means I don't need to know or care about you. Feel free to Trimble.
N - Victoria stop.
V - aww Nate you don't want me to scare off your little friend here.
Vanessa - I don't care who you are but can you back off.
V-   looks how classy she is Nate why did you bring her if you know that your grandfather doesn't like rude disgusting people.
N - Victoria please stop causing this much not need drama.
V - Nate we all know that you're obsessed with me so let's make what you wanted to happen.
-I grab his arm and pulled him to my side-
N - come on Victoria please stop we can do whatever you want when we get out of here.
V - Nate lets go now.

-she just rolled her eyes-
We walked off to an empty room good thing I just need someone to talk too since I been feeling lonely since yesterday night.

V - I don't know
N - what you can tell me anything.
V - Do you remember the first time you brought me here? When you were still with Blair. We were, like...
N - 12 or 13.

V - I remember we use to talk about our future. We imagined how perfect everything would have been if we were, dating instead of you and Blair. Remember.

V - but it never happened. Instead, everything got screwed up for me and it wasn't supposed to go that way for us. I just feeling so
-I started to cry -
N - lost. Do you remember when you use to make us watch your favorite movies over and over again? Like "Tiffany's" and "holiday"? It uses to drive me nuts.
-he sat next to me I just looked at him-
V - how is that supposed help, Nathaniel.
I finally asked you why you liked watching movies you've already seen, and you remember what you said?
V - I like knowing how things will turn out.
N - exactly. Do you know what I'm finally learning?
V - what?
N - you can't fight against what you want and what you are Victoria Starling.
V - what happened to the Nate Archibald that who just wanted to get high and play "halo"?
- he laughs. Aw, I missed that laugh so much-
N - I don't know.
V - I know what happened he fell apart when he couldn't be with the girl he wanted instead of being with one who was just there.
N - well, I better, um, I better head inside.
-he started to walk away I just couldn't wait for any longer.-
V - Nate.
-I got up real quick. He just stared at me.-
N - yea?
V - don't forget this.

V - this
-I kissed him and of course, he kissed back. I waited so long.-
N - you finally came to your senses.
-I just laughed and kissed him again-
V - yea I did Archibald and go back out there alright.
N - see you later Victoria.
-with that, he left and I just sat there in the dark.-

Nate's pov.
-
I still couldn't believe that Victoria finally confessed that she feels something for me and kissed me. What I'm gonna do now with Vanessa in the picture. I have to figure it out quickly if Victoria was still willing to give us a chance.
-
I saw Vanessa so now is the moment to break it to her.
N - hey.
V - hey, I've been looking for you. About before, what I forgot to tell you is.. I believe in you too, just a different you.
-I was about to tell her but I got cut off.-
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please? As soon we celebrate our family's past this weekend and also look to its future. Our grandson, Nathaniel, is graduating from St. Jude's this year, and I'm proud to announce, has been offered an internship in the mayor's office."
Everyone claps and Vanessa just looks at me.
Grandfather - Nathaniel?
N - I'm sorry.
I walk up to the stage and I see Victoria walk into the room I just couldn't help and smile.
N - well, our family has many traditions. Some, like touch football, comes to a steeper price than others. -the crowd laughs- but what they all have in common is a commitment to bringing out the best in yourself, your potential, even if you're not sure what that is. I hope to find out this summer in the mayor's office.
Grandfather - yes that's what I wanted to hear.
-everyone clapping and I look up and see Vanessa just staring at me and again I look around and spot Victoria smiling at me.-

Victoria's pov.

After Nate's speech about accepting the internship I can't help and feel so proud of him and I look around Vanessa walked off. I finally have Nate to myself after 4 years of waiting.
-
V - I'm so proud of you Nate and let's get out of here.
N - yes let us go Victoria.
We left the Van Der Bilt residents and us back to my place.
-
V - thanks for bringing me home and being there for me when I finally decided to talk about my feelings to someone.
N - your welcome I just want to make sure you're fine. which you are so I should go.
V - Nate -I grab his hand- stay with me tonight.
N - you sure?
V - yes and of course I want you here with me since we finally I mean me that I confessed how I feel about you, Nate.
N - I'm glad you confessed how you feel about me and of course, I would stay with you. want to know why.
V - why.
N - cause I want to be here with the person I love.
V - I love you too Nate.
We kissed and laid in my bed.
