"It's for your own good... senpai..."

     ((3 days later))

It had been three days since Yuta had gone to see Sicheng.

But there he was, strolling down the street on his way to the cafe.

He dressed in a yellow hoodie and pastel blue, ripped jeans, hoping it would make him appear happy...

     But he wasn't...

That usual spark of happiness he felt was replaced with a flood of nerves.

He already felt a lump forming in his throat that he attempted to swallow.

He hoped he wouldn't cry in front of Sicheng, but he knew he would.

Yuta sighed when he reached the cafe. He swung the door open, getting a slightly nostalgic feeling when he entered.

He approached the counter with his head down.

     "YUTA!!!" 4 different voices shouted.

Yuta looked up and gasped when he was caught in a tight embrace, being lifted off the ground.

     "Woah! Uh- Y-Yukhei!" Yuta exclaimed.

Yukhei didn't let go and soon enough two other pairs of arms hugged him strongly.

     "Yah! Guys!" Yuta whined.

The three of them finally set him down.

It was a little bit weird because he didn't know them super well but he was glad they were happy to see him.

     "Yuta..."

Yuta turned around and made eye contact with Sicheng.

Yuta's heart started racing like it always did.

     "Uh- H-Hi Senpai...." Yuta stuttered.

Sicheng came around and gave him a strong hug.

"Where have you been?" Sicheng asked.

Yuta didn't know how to respond.

He didn't want to burden his senpai or make him worry.

     But then again....

     He wouldn't care....

     "Being sad" Yuta replied.

"Why were you sad?" Yukhei asked with a frown.

Sicheng pulled out of the hug and looked at Yuta.

     His eyes widened.

Yuta didn't even realize he was crying until Sicheng wiped his tears.

Yuta broke down into a fit of quiet sobs, shaking his head.

Sicheng didn't know what to do, looking at Johnny, Yukhei and Jaehyun in panic.

Yukhei mouthed the words 'hug him'

Sicheng nodded and hesitantly went in for the hug.

Yuta didn't hug back but started crying into Sicheng's shoulder.

Sicheng just rubbed his back, not knowing what else to do.

"Let's take him to the back" Johnny said.

Sicheng nodded and tried to pull Yuta to the back room.

     Yuta didn't budge, almost falling.

Yukhei mouthed to him again 'Pick him up!'

Sicheng and Yukhei had a silent argument while Yuta was still crying.

Jaehyun sighed and picked up Yuta himself, carrying him to the backroom, bridal style.

Yuta clung to him, crying into his chest.

Sicheng got an odd feeling, seeing Jaehyun hold Yuta.

     His Yuta.

Sicheng mentally scolded himself for thinking such things.

     Yuta wasn't his.

     They weren't dating.

     He didn't even like Yuta!

     Right?....

Sicheng was snapped out of his thoughts when Jaehyun told him to sit down.

Sicheng nodded and sat in front of Yuta, holding his hands.

Yuta was finally calming down now and had stopped crying.

"Yuta... what happened?" Yukhei asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I've never seen you cry before" Sicheng frowned, wiping away one of his tears.

Yuta sniffled and wiped his eyes.

"I-It was just... a lot of things at once..." he sighed shakily.

     "Like what?..." Johnny frowned.

"Well... i missed senpai... and i kept thinking about home..." he replied.

At least he was kind of telling the truth.

"Well, you had me worried sick" Sicheng sighed.

"You were worried about me?...." Yuta asked, hopefully.

"Of course i was worried! You're my friend!" Sicheng said as if it were obvious.

Yuta felt a pang in his chest...

     Like his heart had sunk...

     Friends...

     We're just friends...

     That's all we'll ever be....

     "Of course..... we're friends..."
