☁️Betty☁️
After Jughead stormed out of the school, I waited for Archie outside of the nurse's office.
He walked out with his nose bandaged, and he looked like the complete idiot he is.
"Archie." I said, walking up to him.
"Hey Betts, did you see what that psychopath did to me? God." he said, holding his nose as if it hurt him to speak.
"Why did you tell him to stay away from me?" I asked him, crossing my arms. "Jughead is my bestfriend, that's like telling me I can't talk to my brother."
"You realize you're a little old for opposite gender friendships?" Archie said, stepping closer to me. "There can only be one reason that you keep that piece of shit loser around, and that's because you have feelings for him."
"Archie! I don't have feelings for Jughead! Neither of us will ever have feelings for each other!" I said, throwing my hands up in the air. God, he just wasn't getting it.
"Well, you better tell him that." Archie mumbled.
"Jughead does not like me." I said.
Archie widened his eyes. "You don't notice?"
"There's nothing to notice!" I said.
"Mhm." Archie mumbled, walking past me. "Pops?"
"Yeah, sure." I said, lost in thought. Jughead doesn't like me, there's no way.
We walked into Pop's and I looked around and made eye contact with the person I was dying to get some answers from.
Jughead Jones.
He was sitting in our usual booth, laptop on the table, typing away.
I started walking quickly towards him, and sat down across from him. He didn't even notice until I was sitting down. He looked up and his eyes widened.
"I need to talk to you." I said, reaching forward and closing his laptop.
He quickly shook his head and got up from the table, walking away.
"Wait Jug!" I said, getting up and stepping in front of him.
"Sorry, I've got a peanut allergy." he mumbled to me, then pushed past me and walked out the door, headed in the direction of the Southside.
I watched him leave, devastated at his words.
"What the hell did he mean by a peanut allergy?" Archie asked me, he was holding two milkshakes.
"A Peanut Betty allergy." I sighed sadly.
I decided after Pop's that I had to talk to Jughead, even if he didn't want to talk to me.
I walked to the Southside and up to the Jones trailer. I was about to knock on the door when I heard yelling from inside.
"You're a fucking disgrace!" I heard FP yell. "You don't get to go to college, so don't even think about it. You're joining the serpents, and to assure that you don't have good enough grades to get scholarships, you're going to Southside High next year."
