Lonely And Afraid

Chapter 1

↪So you have already heard how they met (and a bit of backstories p.s. there will be more) those of you who READ THE PROLOGUE. Now its time to continue the story starting the day Amanda found the sewer.

     Amanda walked for hours and hours before she finally decided to take a break. Luckily she was smart enough to add a bit of snacks, her father has hidden, to her pack before she left. She ate 2 twinkies before she decided to start moving again. Soon enough it got quite dark and she had to find a safe place to sleep and fast.
      
       So she walked till her legs hurt, just then she looked up and saw a light looming out of a sewer pipe, clearly who ever was in there was dumb enough to leave the lights on and bright. Hopefully he or she was nice. But Amanda was innocent at the time and had no real thought of the bad people out there, except the bullies in school. So she ran to the light.

       When she entered the sewer pipe a young man greeted her with a friendly "hello". "What are you doing here, are you lost ill help you find your home." And she replied "Im not lost I ran away, why are you here."

       "Nevermind that" he held out his hand "My name is Jason and yours"

       Much to Jasons surprise Amanda gripped his hand with a tough shake, the one good thing she learned from her parents, "Amanda".

       Amanda was a very curious girl so she just had to add "I'm 12 how old are you"
  
       "14,what grade"

        "8th i skipped a year"
 
        "Me too, i failed a year"

         Amanda shivered, after all she had been outside for almost 5 hours.

        "Hey come in okay, I'm sure I can find somewhere for you to sleep."

        "Thank you"

                                  10 min. later

        "Hey what school do you go to" Amanda asks as she forces her blanket over her face. The bed Jason made her was much more comfortable then her one at home...that one was just planks and a blanket.

     "I used to go to ######### but after i left my home I havent been able to" Jasons face got visbly red.

     "OMG I went there too .whats your last name." Shes finally putting the pieces together.            

"My full name is Jason Hunter Clift why..."

       
"Wait are you the kids who parents died in that fire, oops that was rude..." " I'm sorry ignore my question"

"No, its okay it happened years ago, and yes that's me"

"I'm sorry my mouth is just out of control sometimes" Amanda says as a tear runs down her face. She was about to start full on crying when...

Jason stood up out of bed and walked over to Amanda. She stood as well scared of whats going to happen. Will he hit me, scream at me god damnit just do it already your scaring me. Is all she thought.

She looked down she never noticed before but for a run-away he kept himself groomed and bathed. She looked at his eyes Wow those beatiful glowing green eyes, they are like little emeralds. I think oh no im falling for him.

Jason stared at her and although he couldnt tell what was on her mind, he could guess. But untill then he took in her beauty. She is very short, but i kinda like it, she only reaches my chest haha im a head taller. She is really pretty long blonde hair bright blue eyes i just wanna...

Jason leans in and kisses Amandas flushed pink lips.

Amanda can fell a tingle go straight through her back, she tries to pull away but her body doesnt let her. Instead she grabs his face and puches his lips into his even more firmly. My first kiss,and with a complete stranger,whatever I have a feeling I wont be getting rid of him anytime soon.

Amanda pulls away and shivers a response "Goodnight!"

Jason was in awe he still couldnt believe he just did that, but it seems she enjoyed that...maybe more in the future...my first kiss i hope i was good enough... "Goodnight"
