Alpha Female

I woke up as Dad shouted at me,
"Get up, we're going to be late!!"
"Alright dad!" I shouted back. I quickly put on my denim shirt and black shorts, along with my green converse. I quickly put my hair up, it turned out to be a messy bun. You'd think I'm your classic blondie, wearing makeup 24/7 and partying all night long but I'm the complete opposite. My bright green eyes didn't need eyeliner or mascara to shine, at least that's what dad says. I ran out and quickly fed Jax, my 1 year old German Shepherd puppy. I ran out the door where Dad was waiting for me, and I swung open the door to the Jurassic World Jeep. I slammed it shut as Dad floored it all the way to the raptor pens. I pulled out my phone from my back pocket and turned on my music. When we arrived, I could see Hoskins watching over my raptors. That guy was such a little bitch, I don't know why he sticks around here. But I didn't mind yelling at him, I found it fun. Dad and I jumped out of the car and dashed for the raptor pens. "Hey Cam!" Barry shouted.
"Hey Barry, how's it looking this morning?"
"The raptors are doing well, and so am I."
"Both are good to know." Dad walked up the stairs to the platform overlooking the raptors and I quickly followed him. I clicked my tongue to catch the raptors attention and raised my hand up. I commanded them, I was alpha. I always fed Blue last and Charlie first because Charlie is the youngest and tends to give all her food to Blue. I always make sure that she eats it do she don't starve. Then Hoskins walked up to dad and me.
"You got them eating out of your palm Grady."
Before Dad could step in, I said,
"It's Camilla to you Hoskins, only my friends and dad can call me Grady or Cam."
"We should do a field test, I saw a bond between man and beast!"
"If we do, I'll let them eat you first. Their animals, the only beast I see is the one standing in front of me."
"Cam, tone it down a little bit." Dad intervened.
"Why should I, he's a douchebag."
Hoskins then rambled on about tech shit, but I don't give a crap. I know I swear a lot, I don't judge you so don't judge me, I get my love of swearing from my Dad. I was so pissed at Hoskins, even seeing him makes me angry.
"PIG LOOSE!!" I hear the handlers shouting. I quickly run to the gate and open it enough to where I can slip in, I click my tongue and raise my hand as Blue stands in front of me, hissing. Charlie growls and starts coming closer slowly.
"Back up Charlie!" I shouted.
"Open the gate now!" Dad pressed the button to open it with no hesitation. I slide under the gate as the handler that fell in made it to safety. I got up and dusted myself off as Dad walks right up to me and says,
"Next time I go in there, It's too dangerous for you."
"I was fine dad, your being dramatic like always."
"You could get hurt..."
"I can handle myself dad." I said walking off before I jumped into the Jeep and drove off towards the visitor center. I arrived there to see the hologram of a T-Rex, I walked around and stopped by a little screen. I was about to touch it before a kid with curly blonde hair dashed in front of me. He knew all the DNA parts, I could tell that he was smart when it comes to dinosaurs. I noticed that the little boy wasn't alone as I saw a boy about my age with brown hair walk up to him, I guessed that they were brothers. I walked up the stairs towards main office to check my schedule and apparently I was scheduled off for the rest of the day. I walked down the stairs as Claire caught up to me.
"Camilla, you wouldn't mind giving my nephews a tour around the place?"
"Shouldn't you be watching them, you're their aunt."
"My schedule is jam packed, I'll pay you extra."
"Fine, well I need you to show me them."
"Follow me." Claire said as a kid called out,
"AUNT CLAIRE!!"
It was the same little boy with the blonde and curly hair. The boy behind him staring at his phone, he was clearly one of THOSE teenagers.
"This is Camilla, Camilla this is Gray."
"Hi Camilla!!" Gray said happily.
"Hi!" I said.
"Camilla this is Zach."
I nodded but he was too busy looking at his phone to pay attention. Claire walked up to Zach and said once more,
"Zach this Camilla and she be showing you guys around."
Zach nodded slightly as Claire sighed.
"Camilla, what do you do here?"
"I train the Velociraptors with my dad."
"Cool!"
"I can tell you love dinosaurs."
"Yep, I know everything about them."
"You'll love it here then, when I first came here I was about your age, 12."
"You've been here for 4 years?"
"Yep, I raised the raptors from birth and they are my family."
"That's cool!"
"What do I have to expect from your brother?"
"Stubbornness, and also his eyes are always glued to his phone, he can be mean at times as well."
"Well, I'm in for it today." I said as Gray chuckled.
"Also Gray, you can call me Cam."
"Ok Cam!" Gray smiled as we started walking to the petting zoo.
