david's  pov

I wake up rubbing my head, fucking hell what happen. sitting up I can tell I'm in a library, the golden oak library. I look around seeing that my weapons and bag is on a table in the middle of the room. " princess can I study these objects?" I hear twilight asking. " yes my faithful student" I hear a regal voice say, and they can stay away from my gear. "sorry but ill have to burst your bubble, you not studding SHD equipment that you haven't got authorisation to use." I stand up seeing the main 6, along with princess celestia and Luna. twilight looks at me with a notepad using her magic to hold it "your awake great, who are you and what does SHD mean?" I rub my chin with my gloved hand. " lieutenant mist shot of the strategic homeland division or SHD" I give a salute while going over to the table checking my equipment as I smile picking up my body armour and putting it on. "what is that?" celestia asks point at my M1911 sidearm. " that is a colt M1911 firearm, you don't know what a firearm is?" everyone around me shakes their heads "may I ask what does you soldiers use to fight with then?" I ask while putting my backpack on. " we don't have soldiers but we have guards that use magic, swords, spears and bows" Luna speaks with a regal voice soundly like a HVT as I nod. "so what do these firearms do, and what is the division?" ask Luna. I take a deep breath " there for killing and self defence, mankind made them to help win wars, as for the division. the division is a specialise group of agents which is only active when everything else fails" sighing, they all look at me with horror all over their faces "after the dollar flu outbreak new York broke down in five days, millions of people where killed" mumbled but just loud enough for them to hear as I shake my head looking at the ground. "after that new York became hell on earth people started to do anything to survive, the division is doing it's all to save what reminds of our world" I pick up my M1911 checking its ammo, full mag, nice. I place my M1911 into its holster as I felt every eye in the room on me "what are your intentions?" celestia says strictly "well I'm guessing that there is some sort of conflict against the changelings, so more than likely just try and have a peaceful life." I admitted with a shrug. "how do we know your not gonna join them" spat rainbow dash as she gets up in my face using her wing to reach but gets pulled back by hair tail by applejack. "well explain why I didn't let that changeling kill you?" calmly glance at her as she lands to the ground. "I know where you coming from, you just looking out for your friends, I would of done the same" letting out sigh while filling an emptiness inside of me. "anyway I'm twilight sparkle, these are my friends rainbow dash, pinkie pie, applejack, rarity, fluttershy. also that's princess celestia and Luna" she point to each pony as she says their name "nice to meet you all" giving a little wave. " I'm guessing you where the one my magic detected earlier today?" celestia smiles warmly, I nod "yes, I was sent here after I died,  due to my soul not valid for hell or heaven." I chuckle while everyone look at me. "how did you die, if you don't mind us asking thee." an interested Luna looks at me smiling a little. "well after me and my squad got reports of their being a chance of a cure inside the dark zone, we went in and got the antivirals..... but when it came to extract... hunters, the bastards surround us.. we fought I told my squad to extract. they extracted and I ran chased by three hunters one shot my right leg. I manged to escape but a hunter tracked me to the apartment I was in trying to get coms up, and she killed me with a 44 magnum to the head" sighing while looking out the window, I get up to grab my brow division jacket it look like it was brand new, from the day I received it , the stains, cuts and bullet holes where gone, just like the rest of my clothes. "he's telling the truth... why didn't  ya go with them?" applejack ask looking at me " the hunters kept pushing I didn't extract so I could stall them hunters to buy my squad some time, and cuz... I had no one waiting back there for me." sighing as a tear formed in my eye, wiping it away as I look out a window at the town.

Luna's pov

I feel his soul great pain he's hidden behind a wall of ice. why is he trying to hide it. wait, he doesn't have a place to sleep? " I will say that your name sounds a bit funny" chuckling a little looking at the human in front of me "it's a code name." he says coldly as he looks in my direction. "anyway we think that there's an house outside the everfree forest, we feel like it appeared near fluttershy's  house it's yours if you agree to not harm are subjects if you do then we'll teach thy pain." making my most threating voice but it just caused him to laugh, a warm heaty laugh as everypony in the room gasp . " hahaha I can't take that threat serious with how cute you look are but I'm not going to harm anyo.... anypony" he smiles reassuring as I nod with a worry celestia by my side. "well I'll go and check it out..... till we meet again." he bows waving before he went through the front door, he stops " my name is Patrick." he walks out the door taking all his equipment with him. "Luna you best know what your doing...for once." asks celestia glaring at me. 

David's pov

I need to keep it hidden, I can't let them know that, even if it means hiding my real name. As I walk through the ponyvile, still shock that the fact I'm here in equestria. I keep feeling eyes on me, hearing whisper. wait did she just say I'm an hairless ape. I guess that's kind of true. As I get to the edge of town hearing the sound of clopping behind me, stopping turning around seeing the dark blue alicorn. "so I have a stalker" chuckling while smirking as Luna giggles a little as she walks up next to me " we ain't stalking thee, we are making sure you are alright" she smiles a little as I chuckle "first you threaten me then ask if I'm alright, but I'm fine thanks" walk seeing something that made me stop in my tracks. no, my old house. I look at the two storey brick masterpiece as I go to the door placing my hand gently over it. " I haven't seen this place for so long" I sigh in happiness ass I pull a white piece of paper of the door, opening it

don't worry about water and electric. its already been hooked up to ponyvile mains.

PS you need a shower I can smell you from heaven. you sink!

I take my bag off going into the front pocket pulling out a key. "this house ain't any equestrian design." she looks at the brick work in amazement. "yeah cause this is my home" joyfully putting the key into the lock turning it. click. "you want to come in?" offering as I hold the door open as she nods quickly trotting in " thank you" she chirps as i pull the key out placing it into the back of the door, quickly picking up my bag and putting it over my shoulder. walking into the house closing the door, I find Luna in the living room looking at photos on the wall with interest. "who are these humans?" she asks pointing at a family photo. I look at the photos placing my bag on the couch in front of the pictures. I close my eyes thinking of my family " those are of my family, my mother, damn we never met eye to eye but we manage to get along... my farther drank to much, smoke to much but always there when i need him... my older bother, I remember when we where young he use to protect me try to toughen me up..... finally my twin brother, he was the only reason i wanted to live, make him proud and see him smile" I lamented as a tear rolled down my cheek, wiping it away. i feel something griping me tightly. Opening my eyes slowly seeing Luna standing on her hind legs using her fore legs to hug me, returning the hug. After a couple of minutes Luna broke the hug as she gets back on all hooves. "thanks Luna, I needed that." I murmured as I give Luna a smile. "it's alright that's what friends are for" she smiles widely as she looks out the window " oh, I need to go and raise the moon see you next time. goodnight." she sigh while her horn lit up and she vanished leaving me stand there alone smiling a little. i grab my bag and weapons as I had to the basement door 10 inch thick steel, I put the code into the door and a loud buzz the door opened my, as I turn the light on multiple guns where on the wall, boxes of ammo, grenades and more equipment lay around the basement. As I place my weapons on their racks, going back upstairs locking and turning on the alarm on the basement. I let out a breath smiling, heading upstairs going into the bathroom looking at my overgrown hair reaching my shoulders, my face which needs a good shave. i grab the clippers starting to drag it over my hair as it fall to the grown, after a couple of minutes my hair was short. smiling nodding hopping in the shower, after finish washing my hair and hopping out of the shower using a towel to cover myself and one to dry my hair. letting out a loud yawn. Damn it's been awhile since I've slept in a real bed. I go into my room rubbing my left eye due to sleep as i jump into bed passing out instantly.
