Haytham Point of view
Weeks turned into months, without a single clue as to where the rescued captives went. I am beginning to lose faith in this endeavour, but Charles brings me news today that is most interesting and beneficial. According to the word in the street, she was been causing mischief outside a city called Lexington. If the rumoured were true she probably has made camp outside the town.
My mimd habitually returns to her, recalling her appearance and such for research purposes. Although the men brands her as a savage, she has earned my respect since our raid on Southgate fort. Nothing about her is reminiscent of the women here or those back in London, there is an air of unrestrained surrounding her yet she exudes such as confidence and bravado uncommon for a woman that I cannot prevent my amusement or amazement of her when my thoughts wander back to that day. Charles and I are to journey out past the limits of Lexington, today in hopes that we may find her though I fear capturing our mystery woman will be easier said than done.
Haytham Kenway journal entry February 14, 1755.

I was to meet Charles on the outskirts of Lexington and from there we would begin our search, an hour an half later or so riding in the countywide. I found Charles shivering in front of a building, or a trading post and I realised with a horrible clarity just how distant from civilisation we were. No one would come for our aid if something were to go wrong as I dismounted from my horse to greet Charles.
Haytham: have you found her?
The question sounded more anxious, because of the poor cold whether that were are now in.
Charles: she's made camp not too far from here
I smiled
Haytham: excellent well the sooner we're done, the sooner we can get out of this cold snowy whether
We wasted no time as we mounted on our horses, as Charles was leading the way to her camp.

We soon reached the campsite that Charles was talking about, but it was abandoned. We both dismounted off our horses and made our way to the camp.
Charles: we're too late
Hmm not quite I thought I wasn't an expert at tracking, but I knew just enough to determine from the clues she unintentionally left behind meaning that she was near.
Haytham: not quite the fire only just been snuffed, the snow recently disturbed... she close
As if to confirm my suspicions our horses dashed off into the forest, something must have spooked them and to my theory I believe it is our mystery woman making our job more troublesome than necessary. However I soon discovered a trail leading into the woods, the prints of a human .

Haytham: these tracks are fresh, they must be hers
I followed the trail further uphill, noticing with a smirk on my face. She's clever she was aware that someone was following her.
Haytham: seems she took to highest ground, out of snow and into the trees
I'm impressed of her survival and stealth skills I thought.
Half an hour passed by before Charles and I finally found her, she was kneeling down in a clearing. Her attention primarily on the object her hands fiddled with a trap, and she seemed more wiser to our presence. I only hoped it would stay that way when I will speak to her.
Haytham: wait here
I motioned Charles to stay behind, as I quietly crept outwards into the white snow. I had to be careful one misstep anything that would give me away, and all of our efforts would go down in vain. It was going well at the moment until I spotted a pack of wolves, as they were targeting our mystery woman as their next meal. My body tensed as they slowly approached to her flank, snarling and growling with teeth bared thirst for blood. My mind was screaming with words of what to do.
Warn her you bloody fool! The wolves will tear her apart! But how? I thought.

My answer soon came as I heard the sound of a familiar click of a musket behind me, and before I could turn around to stop Charles from his actions. He fired at one of the wolves, as its body fell to the ground with a heavy thud, the mystery woman  turned her body towards the sound of gunfire in surprise and she fled from us again.
Haytham: ah dammit! Wait! Come back!
I huffed as I called out to her I love my job! I thought
Haytham: best for you to return to Braddock Charles, before he grows suspicious.. I can handle things from here.
I took off after her yet again, watching in amazement of how she glided with ease through the trees tops. Whilst I stumbled through the snow, in all of my years of training. Not once I was required to learn how to climb trees and deeply as I was embarrassed that I was getting outsmarted by a woman.
Charles: but sir-
There was no time for discussion
Haytham: but nothing now go!

Haytham: stop running! I only wish to talk... I'm not your enemy
She exhibited no signs as she jumped to one tree to another, the further I pressed forward to uphill. The more thick snow became harder for me to run faster.
Haytham: please just hear me out!
I cried out that she'd listen to my reason, but from tree branch to tree branch she moved like she was part of the forest. I could tell that she was eager to escape a strange white man who is following her.
Haytham: Gods woman! Only let me speak!

I soon discovered another campsite and the owner was lying motionless on the frozen ground, I believe the cause of death was the wolves who was now circling me now as their next dinner. I hissed under my breath in a mixture of annoyance and fear.
Haytham: bloody devils!
One launched itself and knocked me down, its jaws snapping too close to my neck for comfort. But I threw the wolf far from me and I prepared to defend myself, my hidden blade was ready for the wolves as I began to stab each one of them. After I finished off the last of the wolves, I scanned the area for any signs of the native woman. But it appeared she vanished into the air, without any trace as to where she has gone.
Haytham: where'd the blasted woman go?
I muttered under my breath.

I continued to examine for any signs of her, as I was paying close attention to where I last saw her. But I soon found her in one of the trees with my eagle vision that I had possessed as my second sight. Without any second she soon darted off, leaping to another tree while I was running with heavy snow that was killing me with tiredness.
Haytham: You try my patience woman!
I shouted in rage I was soon going to lose her again. But a smile came upon my face as she slipped off a branch she soon lost her balanced the point, she was forced to run onto heavy snow like me. The running game was now even and I finally caught up with her, as she ran behind the rocks before she turned around to confront me enraged.

Ziio: are you touched in the head?!
Her tone spoke of her displeasure of being tailed, I could tell she was not pleased to see me again.
Haytham: Me. Haytham. I. Come. In. Peace
I stopped over gasping for breath, as tried to introduce myself properly but I was out of breath.
Ziio: why.. are... you... speaking... so slow?
She felt the need to slow her words, as though I did not understand English the irony didn't fail to escape me.
Haytham: sorry
Ziio: what do you want?
This was good I now have the chance to speak to her, considering she was willing to speak.
Haytham: well your name for one
Ziio: I am Kaniehtl:io
Haytham: pleased to meet you godz Ze?
She huffed in annoyance, it was obvious that I had butchered her name and pronounced it wrong as she signed heavily at me.
Ziio: just call me Ziio
Haytham : alright Diio
Ziio: Ziio!
She corrected me again
Haytham: Ziio

Ziio: now tell me why it is you're here?
I retrieved the medallion from my coat pocket, as I was holding it in front of her eyes. She soon snatched it from my grasp, examining it with a newfound, she twisted and turned the pendant over in her hands. As she was tracing the markings and symbols with her fingers, I looked at her with suspicion hmm she knows something I know! I thought.
Ziio: where did you get this?
I frowned like I was being interrogated
Haytham: really does it truly matter?
Ziio: yes! Now answer my question
As she gave me a harsh glare, and I signed in defeat
Haytham: from an old friend
Ziio: I've only seen marking in one other place
My interest was fixed on her again
Haytham: where?
I eyed her curiously as she exchanged her looks from me and the medallion
Ziio: well it is forbidden of me to speak of it
At that point my temper got better of me, as she looked uncomfortable.

Haytham: I saved your people! Does this mean nothing to you?!
Her body tensed at the anger that was coming from me, as I tried an alternative Method to reason with her.
Haytham: look I am not your enemy
I retreated to where I originally stood and I lifted my hands towards the sky, showing her that I mean no harm.
Ziio: close to here there is a hill, meet me there and we'll see if you speak the truth
A secretive smile curved from the corner of her mouth, as I groaned in aggravation and she disappeared along with the medallion.
Oh great! It's just kept getting better and better! This woman is going to be the death of me! I thought as I went to the hill she was speaking about.

Well I hope you enjoyed this chapter! The next chapter will have some romance between Haytham and Ziio, I am going to follow the Assassins creed 3 story but I'm going to change some bits of it! Because Haytham and Ziio relationship was a tragic in the game, so I'm gonna change it a bit!
