The Dragon Shifters

I woke up to a loud pounding on the front door of my family's tiny house followed by the sound of splintering wood there was shouts my mom ran upstairs and into my room with a wild look in her eye. loud noises continued to come from downstairs.

"Adeline get up now" she said in a paniced voice "w-why?" me being only 5 years old was terrified then a tall burly man with dark hair and cold green eyes stomped in he lunged for my mom

half way to her his body started to change growing bigger and a lump grew on his back splitting into two and scales started growing over his skin until a pitch black dragon stood over my mom instead of the man who came into my room then a pure white dragon busted in tackling the black one she looked at me with kind determined eyes they started fighting completely tearing my room apart they tore my ceiling off and fought in the air then they separated

"don't think you've won yet sister I will be back" he hissed and speed off into the sky

I sat straight up in my bed drenched in sweat I sighed in relief it was only a dream the only noise was the quiet snoring of my roommates Rosalie and Caraline

after 10 years I was still  having the same nightmares of the night my parents were killed and I figured out who I really was

a Dragon shifter, after that night I was taken to Drakes academy for exceptional children everyone here was a Dragon shifter and there where peaple here ages 3 through 20 not counting the teachers

my name is Adeline Shade my parents were killed by Jason ,an evil dragon shifter who ran the opposing school Van Draken Academy, I had long dark brown naturally wavvy hair and bright green eyes and I was very tall, Caraline had short blond hair and clear blue eyes, and Rosalie had average length brown hair and hazel eyes we were roommates and had become best freinds almost right away, anyways I had better get some more sleep while I can.
