As the man walked closer Adeline noticed some differences between this man and the one from her nightmare. First his eyes were more of a forest green and I could see the kindness in them as also his black hair was slightly slicked and leaning back. It wasn't the man that haunted her through the night but he looked just like him.
"Alright class I am guessing you already know but this is battle class, here we will learn to fight as humans and dragons but for today we will focus on human and I will be evaluating your skills by having you fight each other" he paused in his Long speech to breath then started to talk again "also class this is Taylor, he is new here and I expect you too make sure he feels welcome" our teacher gestures to a boy sitting in the front of the group with brown hair green eyes and an earring, he didn't look to bad "now any questions before we start?" the small girl from my first class raises her arm and says "what's your name?" "I knew I was forgetting something, class I am professor Orenton, now the board shows who will be fighting who and in what order now begin"
first up was Josh Evens and Kaylie Paulman a boy with broad shoulders stepped forward along with the small girl with the sandy dragon she ended up beating him, he couldn't get one hit on her because she was too fast.
Next on the list was Taylor Cunnings and Adeline Shade, me I stepped forwards ready we circled each other then without warning I struck a blow right on his side, but after I made contact he grabbed my wrist and went to fling me to the ground. I was ready and I rolled onto the ground forcing him to let go and I stood up he swung and dropped bringing my leg around kicking his legs out from under him winning the match.
After that class Kaylie came up to me and said "nice fighting, you have good technique" I smiled flattered "thanks you did really good too your really fast" she smiled too and walked off to her next class I went the other way feeling like I was close to gaining a new friend.
