I took a bite of my sandwich and avoided my parents' eye contact. "So, you and Framen. Who would've thought!" Dad said sarcastically.

I grabbed my plate and started walking away. "I'm not talking about this with you guys." I said and ran out of the room. I walked into my room and closed the door behind me. I put my plate on the bed and walked over to the window. Caden, Erin, and Zach were all his room, and Framen was laughing, a big smile plastered on his face.

He turned his vision toward his window and we made eye contact. I quickly averted my eyes and slammed my blinds closed. Ugh I'm so confused! I squeezed my eyes shut. Do I like him? Do I not like him? Does he like me or was he just using me? UGH!

I grabbed my phone off my nightstand and dialed Sydney's number. "Hello?"

"Sydney, I need your help!"

"Why? What's wrong?" She asked, her voice laced with concern.

"He kissed me...." I said.

"Framen?!"

"Yeah. I don't know what happened we were just talking and then he kissed me. Ugh I don't know what to do!" I yelled into the phone. I took another bit of my sandwich.

"Well, did you kiss him back?" She asked.

"Yeah."

"Then what's the problem?" She asked, confused.

"What do you mean what's the problem?! Everything about this situation is a problem!!"

"Well, is you kissed him back, doesn't that mean you like him?"

"Does it?" I asked. I honestly didn't know.

"In this case I think it does." She said.

"You're crazy! I don't like him!" I said, incredulously. "Besides, I don't even think he likes me! It was probably just in the moment." Why did I say that as if it were a negative thing.

"Alright, not only are you oblivious to others feelings, you're also oblivious to your own feelings. C'mon everyone can see it." She said. I didn't answer. "Well, I got to go, my parents are calling me. You'll figure it out. Don't worry too much."

"Alright, thanks, Sydney. Bye." I said.

"Bye."

I cautiously stepped over to the window and lifted the blinds a little. He had shut his window. I let out a grunt of annoyance and walked back over to my bed to start my homework.

Framen's POV:

Shortly after the guys arrived, it started to rain. Just a little at first, but then it started to progress. Now, it was storming like mad outside. I opened my blinds and looked out the window. Her window was still closed. "Bro, stop thinking about it." Zach said.

I rolled my eyes and walked back over to my bed. "You know what we should do!?!" Caden shouted, over enthusiastically.

"Hmm?"

"We should annoy her. Then, we can get her attention. If she confronts you, then everything is fine. If not, you move on."

"Your logic is so incredibly flawed. And besides how do you assume we do that."

I finally agreed, I mean, even if it didn't work, annoyed Riley was adorable. It was pretty late, and the rain was starting to calm down a bit, but it was still super wet outside. So, we assumed Riley would be just about ready to go to sleep by now, so we cracked my window just a bit and blared our music through it with our speaker. Then, we waited.
