Tama
The day it all started was more than chaos. It was panic, death, fear, and the rush of adrenalin at every turn. The monsters that started to pop up began to wipe out humanity little by little. One bite or scratch could turn you into one of them and there wasn't anything you could do about it. As I ran threw the building of my collage dorm I gathered the little amount of people that I knew. We were the rebels of the university though at this moment it didn't matter what our labels was, all that did is that we stayed alive and gather everything we needed to survive.
"Tama, what about the rest of the students? Whats going to happen to them?" Kaori asked, she had her dyed purple hair rapped up into a messy bun and her brown eyes held a sense of worry I'm them as we gather up food and water at every building that we can. "Kaori, we already have nine people. We can't afford any more mouths to feed... I'm sorry but we need to get out of the city if we intend to survive." I reply with a monotone voice as she just nodded in response. I sighed before making our way past panicking civilians and dodging the monsters.
"Look over there! Mabye we can get one of the vans, Tama!!!" Nao whisper-shouted pointing to a small gas station that had a few vans parked in the front. I nodded as we made our way over to the station. Only a few feet away from the vans, groaning and grunts sounded just in the other side of the vehicle. I shot my hand out to motion to the others to stop.
Glancing around the corner I saw three of those monsters. My eyes narrowed at what they were trying to get at. Before I knew it I was racing towards the things. Holding my hand out, a surge of energy ran threw me as a shot of electricity exploded the heads of them. I slowed to a stop to see a girl around my age huddled in a car. She had blonde curly hair that ran down her shoulders and slightly tanned skin. Her eyes were closed and she seemed to be sleeping.
"Uyeda! Satoru! Come give me a hand would you?" I called back to my group that was now beside me at a moment's notice. The two males came and helped me with the girl. We carefully sat her in the back of a truck bed. Looking over I didn't see any bites or signs of infection. Checking her pulse she seemed to be only unconscious. I sighed nodding to my friends.
"She's alive. Though that doesn't mean she's not infected." I turned to Satoru. "Can you get a vehicle running? " he nodded and quickly went to search for suitable vans that can hold our group.
"I thought we weren't taking anyone else in, Tama?"
Kaori stated as I began to gather our things once more.
"I'm only doing this because she needs to be taken care of. Her leg seems to be fractured and she's unconscious at the moment. And don't think that I'm not thinking about our safety when it comes to bringing new people into the group." I answered placing down some rope and cloth. Kaori's eyes widened, "Wait? Are you thinking of tying her up?"
She asked placing a hand on my arm. I nodded before Emiko came jogging back to inform us that Satoru had got us some vehicles.
*Time skip...
At the moment we were heading into the outskirts of the city. I was riding with Satoru, Emiko, the new girl, and Nao. Kanzuno, Toshi, Uyeda, Kaori,and Yuu was riding behind us. "So any special destinations, Boss?" Yuu's voice came threw in the walkie-talkie. I grabbed it and answered back. "What did you call me?" I asked with a joking tone.
"I called you Boss. Ya' know because you technically are the leader of our little group, so why not call you Boss?" He answered with a ' matter of factly ' tone is his voice. I sighed, looking to my right I saw Satoru nod in agreement. "If you wish. How bout we head up north. Colder weather means easier maneuvering and trapping the monsters."
"Wait! We don't have the right clothes for up north!! I heard it's freezing at times!" Emiko groaned, a smirk played on Satoru's face. Nothing would stop my decision and he knew it.
A laugh slipped out of my mouth before I could stay anything else.
"Looks like we've got to go shopping then." Nao laughed before I could reply.
*Time skip...
After the long ass drive we arrive at a small store, Nao, Emiko, Kaori, and I was all too happy to get off our asses and move. The new girl still hadn't wake up and I was beginning to get worried. "Finally!! Something normal to do!" Emiko cried as she slid into the shops door.
"Be careful, Emiko! You don't know who it what's in there. Keep your guard up, okay." Kanzuno urged following closely behind her. I sighed as we began to fill our arms full of clothing and food.
Minutes passed with us gathering supplies and talking that we all jumped at the moment of screaming.
