Fiona's POV~

I woke up to the sound of loud footsteps going downstairs. I hop off my bed turn on my light and started to get dressed for the day. It was going to be a lazy day probably, doing things to help my dad out, cleaning most likely or going shopping. I grabbed some leggings and a big white sweater. My phone started to ring, it was Stephanie again. "Hey, dude, what's up?" There was rustling in the background and then her voice. "Hey! I have to ask you something, it's super fun I promise, but you have to do it!" Her voice was high pitched and full of excitement, so I couldn't say no. "Alright fine, what is it?" I put my phone down and turned on the speaker phone as I grabbed a brush to comb my hair out. "You're going to spend the night in your woods. It's like slender woods. Find all the pages but you have to watch out for Slenderman, he appears faster the more pages you collect." I squinted in the mirror, was I hearing her right? "Steph, I love you but I have to take care of my dad, He's badly hurt." I could hear her frown, I sighed and finally gave up. "Fine, but I'm going to have to ask my dad first, he's not in the best shape." She groaned but agreed. "Alright, I'll head out soon, I have to do things first, later dude."

I hung up and groaned. I couldn't believe I was doing this, my dad is a little more important than doing a stupid dare for Stephanie. I got up and changed into a pair of dark blue jeans and picked out a black beanie since I knew it was going to be cold out. After that, I threw my hair into a ponytail and headed down the stairs to check on my dad.

"Morning dad, how are you feeling?" I said "Morning princess, my body hurts but I think I can manage, but could you please run to the store for some groceries? You don't have to do anything else." he smiled, I nodded and went to get a pop tart from the cupboard. I never ate too much because I always felt judged, I grabbed the list of food and grabbed my bag. "Hey, my friends dared me to stay in the woods for one night, can I?" I asked quietly knowing he hated the woods. He sighed "Sure just stay safe sweetheart. Call me a few times, please." I felt the tension, he heard the news too, maybe that's how to crash happened, he was too in shock to move out of the way. "I will. Take care of yourself too dad. I love you" I heard him mumble an I love you back as I walked out the door.

"Okay well it's only 2:00, I should get food first before I go anywhere." I walked down the street to a holiday, It was about a 30-minute walk so it wasn't that far away at all. I didn't need anything that wouldn't be at a gas station, my family never had real dinners, we just ate whatever we felt like eating. I picked up basic foods and drinks, milk, chips, cereal, hot dogs, sandwiches. I walked up to the counter with my dad's credit card. "Hey Fiona, going on a shopping spree for your father again?" David, the clerk, asked. "You know it, I gotta take care of both of us now, my mom got into a car accident so I'm the parent." I let a laugh slip, thinking of myself as an adult. "Alright, well have a good day sweetie, sending my prayers to your mom." We waved goodbye as I went out the door.

I sighed, looking at the time, my phone showed it was 2:57, record time for shopping. I thought about getting a job, I'm 17 now I can get hired maybe at the gas station I was just at. I'm sure they would hire me since I'm friends with everyone there, everyone loves me. I slide the bags onto my arms so I could type into my phone the hourly wage and age for working at Holiday. They paid $9.25 an hour, the hiring age was 16, but I wasn't allowed to sell cigarettes yet because I'm not even of legal age to buy them. When I got back from the woods, I'll apply and see what happens. I'm only going to able to work on the weekends though because of school, I know my dad wouldn't allow me to work on a school night.

Time flew as I walked home, it felt like 15 minutes of walking when I was already at my porch. I grabbed the keys out to open the door. My dad is once again, sleeping on the couch. I close the door quietly and tiptoe over to the counter to set the food down. I put the food away, then a hear a groan from the couch and see my dads arms in the air. "Morning sunshine" I jokingly said to him, he groaned again. "Hi, darling. How are you doing?" He spoke as he slowly got up from the couch. "I'm good, I'm applying for a job finally, the holiday is a 30-minute walk for me and they're hiring."

My dad looked, shocked, and sad "Oh that's... that's great sweetie." I squinted, "what's wrong? Do you not want me to work?" He started to tear up and pulled me in for a hug. "My princess is all grown up, you're not my baby girl anymore." He cried on my shoulder. I chuckled and pushed him away. "Dad I'm still your little girl, I just need some extra cash just in case I need it, and I need to grow up eventually." He nodded "I know, I'm happy for you, I just didn't think you'd do it all by yourself. But that makes me even more happy for you." He patted my back and wiped the rest of his tears away. "Now go do things, I'm going back to sleep" I gave him one last hug and ran upstairs and research more about this slender game.

I looked at the time once again, 6:34 PM. I thought that I should get going on my little adventure into the deep dark woods of hell. I got up from my bed, stretching my legs from just laying around for hours. I grabbed my phone, jacket and my hat from the desk. I hopped down the stairs and took a flashlight. "Dad I'm leaving!" I shouted and heard a be safe from the couch. I took off out the door and into the woods.

I was soon enough standing at the entrance of the woods, it was so cold my breath was visible. I shivered, but took a deep breath and walked in. I turned on the flashlight, it was brighter than I thought it would be, but that made me a lot happier. I could see more.

Hoodie's POV~

I was walking in the woods just finishing a mission for slender once again. We stopped and sat down to rest for a bit, Masky and I have been walking for what felt like ages. I spotted a light moving in the near distance, followed by the voice of a girl. I grabbed Masky and dove for a nearby bush. He looked startled for a second. "Hoodie! What the-" I cut him off with my hand and he mumbled the rest. "Will you shut up!" I whispered aggressively as I pointed towards the girl, she looked older, maybe in high school, about our age. Masky and I just watched the girl, walking around, she seemed to be on edge. I jumped when I heard a loud buzzing noise from the girls pocket. "Hoodie... we need to get out of here before she notices us" Masky whispered to me. "Alright, let's go" I mumble back. I like that girl, I didn't want to leave her alone in Slender's Forest, but it has been a long time, Slender's probably gonna be pissed at us if we aren't back soon.

Fiona's POV~

I was singing 'In the end' by Black Veil Brides while I walked through the forest. It was really dark out by now and I couldn't find any pages. This was getting very annoying and I was starting to think about what I could be doing besides this. My phone went off in my pocket and right after I heard dashing footsteps. I turned around to see what it was but then I shrugged it off as startled animals by the sudden noise. Stephanie was calling, again. "Dude what do you want?" Stephanie chuckled through the phone. "Chill out, just remember down your head down, don't just killed, and run the hell out of there if you were static like noises or see him or his proxies." I nodded to myself. "Okay got it, see you in the morning." She hung up this time.

My mind wandered into the darkness as I did, I started to think of the past, my family and friends. I thought about one of my old friends, her name of Natalie. She and I used to be best friends, we did everything together. Literally everything, we used to do parkour a lot and it was our thing. The town we met in really knew us, they would make bets on who would finish quicker or do the most stunts. I missed her, she vanished one day, I never knew what happened to her and I wish I did.

I walked around the big tree bored as heck. I didn't know what to do, and I couldn't sleep because it was the rules. I got a text saying 'Go look for slender's pages and make it like the real game' -Stephanie. oh goody, now I am gonna die today... I thought bitterly to myself. I turned on the flashlight and started walking around the forest. I love the woods, so it was a problem for me to do. I keep turning around to keep for slender or his damn proxies. "My friends are crazy" I mumbled to myself. I couldn't believe I was still doing this, I could just turn back and say I did it, I could lie. But I would feel bad and then probably do it some other time.

I turned around, I thought I saw a shadow run behind me from my right side. My heart was racing, I didn't want to die today. As I looked around, I felt a huge weight plummet onto my back and I screamed as instinct. I blacked out, I felt the world collapse before me. Was this the end?
