~Fiona's POV~
I walked to the mansion with Stephanie next to me. I was so happy that I found my friends, I feel less guilty for just leaving them, I wonder how worried they've been. We entered the mansion and we all spread out to do our own stuff. Michelle was texting, Sam was playing with Smile dog and Stephanie was with Toby eating waffles in the kitchen. It's cute how muchToby and Steph are getting along, I like that they're good friends, it's nice to see her making good friends for once.
"Hey BEN," I said and sat next to him. "What are you playing?" I added. "Black ops: Ghosts" He stated not taking his eyes off the screen of the TV. I sighed and decided to not join, I went over to the stairs and grabbed my grappling hooks and started to walk out the doors. Stephanie jogged up to me, "Where are you going?" I turned around, "I was going to go practice my grappling hook skills again, I haven't done this in years." Stephanie nodded and went back to Toby in the kitchen. I saw Sally run up to me and grab my leg, "Can I please ride again? It was so fun!" She smiled, it was so cute I had a hard time saying no to her. "Alright fine, just this once, because I really do need to practice, okay?" I said to her as I got down on my knees to let her climb on my back. Sally nodded and climbed on, "Here we go!"
Steph had a look of fear in her eyes as we went straight passed Masky and Slender in the halls. The hook did grab onto the bar properly, my heart sank. "Sally! Hold on, tight sweetheart!" I yelled at her and she ducked and held on so tight I couldn't breathe. "Timber!" I screamed and we crashed into Slenders office, breaking the door in the process. Stephanie tried to grab my leg to pull down quick and safe but she just got Sally. I slammed straight into a bookshelf and crashed down with the books on top of me.
Stephanie put Sally down onto the couch and ran over to get me out from under the bookshelf, she was panicking. "Fiona! What the hell was that?" She yelled at me as she pulled me out. I saw everyone running into the office, scared out of their minds. "What happened!?" Jeff and BEN yelled at me, I felt tears start to come out, but I sucked it up and told myself I was fine. "My hook didn't grab onto the beam properly, so Stephanie grabbed Sally and I crashed into the books," I said, sighing in shame. They all looked sorry for me except Masky and Slenderman of course, they were pissed off.
"Go say sorry to Sally then clean up this mess," Slender said in an angry voice and left the room with the others. I just nodded and handed my hooks to Masky which looked... confused? "Why are you giving these to me?" He asked. I was on the brink of tears because he knew the answer too. I sighed "I might as well just give up on these things because I doubt I will be using them again, just give them to Natalie for me." I said and turned to clean up the mess, but I heard shuffling behind me and turned around.
I noticed Sally still here. She looked sad and scared and I turned to her and kneeled down. "Sorry Sally for the mishap," I said and got up. I wonder what Hoodie thinks of me now. We were dating for a while, I think I just ended it. "Fiona... Hoodie said he couldn't deal with you anymore, you're too reckless for him" I nodded, my thoughts were confirmed, Sally looked upset though and started to cry "Hey, don't cry, it's okay" I smiled at her. "N-no it's n-not" She stuttered in shock. "Yes, it is, it's not a big deal. You should go play with Natalie or something, okay? I have the stuff to do" She nodded and left me alone.
I started to clean the books up and put them back when I heard someone come in. I turned around to see Masky, standing there. "Oh, hey Masky, what are you doing here?" I asked. He looked confused, again or still. "How are you fine with Hoodie dumping you?" He asked in shock. I laughed and spoke, "It's because I am planning on leaving this place anyway." I looked him straight in the eye. "Why would you do that? Everyone loves your company." He said sadly. "Stop acting as you care, now I have things to do so you should go."
"We'll miss you, Fiona," Masky said as he left me alone once again, I couldn't stay here anymore.
~Time skip to night~
I slept in on the couch tonight because it would be just awkward with Hoodie now. I was drawing the abandoned houses I used to go to with my friends and sister. Yeah, I had a sister, she moved away though. I heard footsteps coming downstairs. "Fiona, can you sing me a lullaby, please? Masky said you were leaving but he only told me." She paused. "I want to hear your singing one more time before you go." I giggles and said sure. I will miss Sally a lot because she is so sweet to me. I would be honored to do that for her, I'm going to miss her so much.
Sally lay down in her bed and I sat on a nearby chair. I start singing "Lullaby, and good night, in the skies stars are bright. May the moon's silvery beams bring you sweet dreams. Close your eyes now and rest, may these hours be blessed. 'Til the sky's bright with dawn, when you wake with a yawn.~" I sang till she fell asleep and I went back downstairs very quietly not to wake the others. I wrote a note for the guys and my friends and headed out the door, I didn't pack anything because I never went back home to get anything. But now that I was gone from everyone, I couldn't go back home and face my father.
I can't believe I'm actually leaving.
-Hoodie's POV-
I laid in my bed, the other side was empty without Fiona by my side. I feel bad that I had to do this to her but if she was going to be reckless, it had to be done it just wouldn't work out. I missed her beyond belief, but I knew I couldn't go back, Masky even told me that was completely fine. It made me even more upset to know this could have been a completely one-sided thing. I know I need to talk to her tomorrow, to get everything sorted out.
