Can't you see,
I'm not just a mirror,
Even though my surface my be smooth,
Even though I may reflect you,
do you really see,
what's inside of me,
can you see,
I'm breaking,
can you see,
I'm in pieces,
can you see,
that I'm breaking into pieces,
are you even capable,
to look,
beyond the surface?
But I,
can read you so easily,
but I,
can truly see,
who you are,
maybe,
if I throw the shards of my past at you,
will you finally see,
or will you also turn back.
Leaving me behind,
like so many did before you?
Really,
who would want,
a girl like me,
in their beautiful world,
Who,
would want a girl like me.
No one.
Because I'm hiding behind walls,
that aren't mine,
because I don't show who I truly am,
because I'm broken.

This song is based on how little people sometimes know about each other. I got the idea to write this song because of a Webtoon comic called "Fragmented" by callistahermin. It's really good and is still ongoing. I suggest you go check it out. Hope you guys liked the song and I'd really like for some feed back.

PoetryHello everyone, lately, I don't know why, I'm in the mood to write short little songs. I'll probably post twice a week and you guys can post in the comments what you think I should improve on and what you like. Hope you enjoy!
