Naraku utterly despised himself.
He despised himself feeling anything that resembled the pathetic human Onigumo. He considered it a weakness.
He wasn't human.
He was a demon.
And demons shouldn't feel like humans do.
It all started when he first encountered the Miko with InuYasha's band of jewel collectors.
Kagome was spirited and fierce. Caring and loving. The opposite of himself.
And yet she called to him. Called to his inner beast needing to take her and claim her as "his".
He had on many occasions spied her through Kanna's mirror to see he wasn't the only one feeling.
She would talk in her sleep.
About him.
And no matter how he despised himself for feeling. He could not look at the Miko.
Kagome was changing him.
