I wake up the next morning in the same position in which I fell asleep. I quickly notice that Jeongguk is sound asleep behind me. What do I even do now? I shouldn't wake him up — I know that much. I guess I'll just use my phone as I wait for him to wake up.
Soon, some of the others start to wake up. After a few minutes, Seokjin, Jimin, Namjoon, Hoseok, and I are all awake, keeping our random conversations at a whisper so as to not wake the others up.
A while later, Jeongguk is the only one still asleep, and I can feel him starting to move around. He must be waking up.
I was correct.
"Good morning," Jeongguk greets.
"Good morning," I echo. "I have to use the bathroom, so," I fake a cough as a way to gesture to our position.
"Oh, right," he lets go of me, allowing for me to get up.
I go to the bathroom, wash my face, brush my hair, stuff like that.
As I walk out of the bathroom with a yawn, I notice that Seokjin is in the kitchen cooking. I instantly run towards him.
"Y-you don't have to cook, I can do it for you. You are the visitor, after all," I try to convince him.
"It's okay, I have to cook for most of these numbskulls all the time," he points to the rest of the boys, all sitting in the living room doing absolutely nothing. "Just sit back and relax, okay?"
"Alright, thank you," I give in, giving a small bow. I then walk back into the living room, sitting down beside Jeongguk.
"Damn, why are you guys so boring," I scoff.
"Speak for yourself," Jimin says groggily.
"What do you guys wanna do today?" I ask, looking around at the different tired faces.
"Breakfast is ready!" Seokjin shouts from the kitchen.
"Tsk, you guys are lucky," I remark to the six boys lounging around.
Everyone slowly makes their way to the table, seeing the food already set out. We all eat the delicious food quickly.
"This food is wonderful," I compliment.
"Thank you," Seokjin replies.
We finish eating quite soon, and now it's time to clean up.
"I'll clean the dishes, since you cooked," I tell Seokjin.
"Alright then, thanks," he proceeds to the living room, along with the others.
I begin by taking the dishes off of the table, bringing them to the sink. As I'm rinsing the first spoon, water goes everywhere. It's a real struggle. I'll just clean up the water once I'm finished with all the dishes.
It takes a while to rinse all of the dishes, considering there were eight of us. Finally, I completely rinse every single one, and now it's time to put them in the dishwasher, even though I literally just cleaned them.
As I'm struggling to fit everything into the confined space of the small dishwasher, Jeongguk hops up onto the countertop nearby, swiftly swinging his legs back and forth. After turning on the dishwasher, I look over to Jeongguk.
"Um... Jeongguk," I speak hesitantly.
"Hm? What is it?" He asks, completely oblivious.
"That area of the countertop is wet," I bluntly state, recalling the spoon incident. His facial expression showcases his shock as he abruptly hops back off of the countertop. Jeongguk turns his head around, trying to get a good look at the back of his blue jeans to see how much water has been soaked up by the fabric.
"Yah, why couldn't you tell me earlier?" He says with a tone similar to that of Seokjin.
"Honestly, I forgot. I was busy and I didn't even think about it," I shrug.
"Well, what am I going to do about my jeans being soaked?"
I sigh, gesturing for him to follow me into the nearby laundry room. "Just hand them to me," I pause, holding my hand out and soon noticing his hesitation. "It's not awkward, we know each other well. Plus, I already live with a guy your age: Jimin. I'll throw them into the dryer and Jimin can let you borrow some pants in the meantime."
At that, Jeongguk shyly removed the water-stained blue jeans, and I tossed them into the dryer. As I started the drying cycle, I shouted to Jimin, "Jimin! Grab some spare pants, Jeongguk wet himself!"
Jimin and the others laughed loudly for a bit, but Jimin soon enters the laundry room, tossing a pair of sweatpants over to Jeongguk, who is obviously embarrassed. Jeongguk, nonetheless, quickly slips on the sweatpants.
"Thanks," Jeongguk says shyly, his head hanging.
"It's okay, it's my fault that I didn't clean up the water," I reply, and we both exit the laundry room.
We walk into the living room to meet with the others, who are still giggling. I'm bored, so I decide to ask a question.
"So, what are we doing now?"

❗️from now on, the chapters may be shorter, but more often.❗️
it really overwhelms me when i feel as if i have to have over a certain amount of words, especially like the other chapters in this story (wherein most have over 2,000 words).
i decided to start back on this story due to the amount of votes it has recently received. thank you to those of you who read/voted, i really appreciate it.
