I am hanging out with my friends after detention. Yeah, I have been there all year. I look at Ashton and he sighs.

"Ash, whats on your mind mate," I ask.

"Courtney has been getting a lot of hate ," Ash freaks out as Courtney walks over.

Her and Mike have been dating for a while and I havenoticed a good kind of change in him. Its kind of aggervating. We used to hang out in detention all the time and now hes never in there.

"Hey..... um Ashton....... can we talk," Courtney says and they walk off.

Michael smirks and see scars on Courtney's wrists.

"Ash, I know I promised to tell you if I started getting hate again. They are so mean," Courtney says and Ashton hugs her.

"I'm sorry Courtney. I hate seeing this happen to you," he says and Mikey walks over.

A group of girls walk by and laugh at Courtney.

"What a joke," one of them says.

"I wonder if shes preggers yet," another on laughs.

"Better yet, if she was even sleeping with Mikey. He can do so much better than a girl that refueses to not put out for hime," another girl says grabbing Mike's arm.

"Listen. This flirting and shit needs to stop. Yes your all pretty, but i don't give a damn about you. I don't mind waiting till she's ready because I respect her," Michael says with anger clear in his voice.

Courtney has been in Ashton's arms crying and Mikey grabs her.

"Shh.... they're gone," he says holding her close to him. We walk out of school only to be meeted by jocks.

"Gosh damn it Michael," Calum says and the jocks smirk.

"Who yelled at thoose lovely ladies over there," one jock says.

"I did. They should really stop picking on my girlfriend," Mikey says quietly.

"So they were picking on your chick," another says.

"Mike, we need to go. I have to clean Courtney's wrists. She cut again," Ashton says.

"Alright. come on," he says as the principle comes out.

"Hold up," Mr. Karks says.

We stop and Courtney stands behind Ashton and me.

"Who is getting bullied," Mr. Karks asks.

"I am," Courtney says stepping from behind us.

"Who is doing it," he asks.

"Them," Courtney says pointing to the group of girls laughing.

"Thank you. You are dismissed," Mr. Karks says waving us off.

We get into the car and Mike drives home. We get home and Ashton brings Courtney into the bathroom.

"What happened to land you in detention again Lucas," my mum asks.

"The teacher was being an ass," I say shrugging my shoulders.

"You need to find someone like Courtney. maybe you'll be broken from your habits when you do," mum says,

"The only girl I want has a boyfriend so I cant do shit," I say grabbing a beer.

"Lucas, get a soda," mum says and i grab a soda as well. "Put the beer back," she continues.

"I haven't had one all week," I argue.

"Fine," she says waving me off.
