Chapter 3

Days passed on and on and it they all played out to Wadanohara like a film, many things happened, like Samekichi having to wear a frilly dress for Sal because he got in trouble and so on, they also started school, Sal would get bullied a lot for being the girly type but Samekichi always protected him and told him everything would be fine, they were pleasant memories, however at this time, Sal was also starting to talk to Princess Mikotsu a lot, he was always there for her and always talked to her and comforted her when she was upset, Samekichi would sometimes tease him about having a crush on Mikotsu [for Sal actually did] but even then, Sal was always with her or Samekichi, but sadly also over the years, their mother had grown terribly sick that she had to leave home and rest in the sea god's hospital, she had been sick for many weeks

However, one day that all changed

Old was coming back from work at the Sea God Castle until the messager, Sheep, caught up to him. "Old.. I... Have... News... For...you.." Sheep said, they were out of breath after following Old around. "Oh? What is it?" The shark asked. "Your... Wife..." Sheep said in between deep breaths. "What is it? How is she doing? Is she getting better?" He asked with concern, for everyone in the family were worried. "Your..wife.. Died, last night after you left.." Sheep said as Old's eyes widened.

"She what?!"

"She died.."

"Sheep are you messing with me?!"

"No, not at all"

Tears began to form around Old's eyes as he ran away, sheep watched as he ran away. "No way in hell did she die!" Old yelled when he knew full well that Sheep wasn't lying. He ran all the way home and slammed open the door with such tears in his eyes.

"Welcome home papa"

"Welcome home father"

Old looked at his sons for a moment before rushing into his room, his sons watched in confusion. "Kichi, why is father so upset?" Sal asked quietly but Samekichi only shrugged. Wadanohara looked at Sal and Samekichi was such a look of pity, for they hadn't known what happened, than she walked behind Old until a closed door was in front of her and behind it, was quiet weeping. She lowered her head and closed her eyes, this whole dream was slowly becoming a nightmare. The clock ticked and ticked reminding everyone that this was reality. Time passed as Sal one day declared he was going to see Mikotsu, which didn't surprise Samekichi and his now depressed father.

However, Sal returned with a sad expression

"Syake, what happened?"

"The sea god chose Uomi as the princess, Mikotsu is very upset.. I tried to comfort her but she said she wants to kill Uomi, she said it with such hatred.. I didn't know what to do"

Samekichi listened closely. "So how does she plan to kill Uomi?" He asked

"She wants to start a rebellion.."
