"**Dave, you stupid fuck! You don't tell monsters to follow you back your place, only to get eaten by them later on**" My brain yelled at me throughout the walk as I lead her through a shortcut that led us straight to my apartment. She was pretty quiet the whole trip there. It scared me a bit due to my fears growing with every inch in my body as she followed me to my home.

Imagine being followed by a dark wolf-like creature back to your apartment, only because you planned to go out to Walmart to get a gallon of milk...

I stopped in front of a dark mahogany wood door that led inside to a white, modern looking house. The street was quiet and all I could here behind me were her small breaths. It somehow felt relaxing to feel the heat her mouth projected, but that feeling changed quick by the creepiness that her presence displayed. I quickly fumbled with the keys in my pocket to relieve the silent pressure beating upon me, but to no avail.
It took me a minute just to get out my keys and into the door.
"Well..." I said short-faded. "...welcome, home..."

We walked inside and I set my things down onto the counter as she slowly moved around my house, studying the complex. It looked as if she admired the house, with its modern furniture and decorative pictures hanging. It captivated her in a trance. It was like she had never seen a house like mine before. I set the milk in the fridge and put the rest of the contents away along with it. I turned to look back at her and she was sitting on the floor, facing the big ginormous window that reached to the roof of the second floor and lead out to the small backyard. However, it did capture the hillside that led down to the river that ran under the town. It was a beautiful sight to see, with the moon illuminating from the river water, to the tall trees that wrapped around it.
She was truly amazed by it.

She slowly inched her self down in a laying position as she continued to stare beyond the mountainside. I sat down in the sofa that faced the same window next to her and admired the view. She turned to me like any child would if they were to get excited about what they just witnessed or saw.

"You like it?" I said in a low tone.

She replied in a shocked, yet raspy voice like from before, "It's... nice..."
We both looked back from each other to view the beautiful scenery as the moon continuing to rise throughout the night.
We didn't move for a long time...
