B A C K S T O R Y Born and raised in Tulsa with rich parents, Emilie Chapman is the typical Soc. She thinks she's too good to talk to Greasers, thinks she's too cool to feel anything, drives around with a fancy new car, wears fancy clothes, and is honestly a spoiled brat. She's a cheerleader at the high school and is the girlfriend of one of the most popular students at their school: Bob Sheldon. Truthfully, she has a damn good life — but Emilie still has a desire to get the hell away from Tulsa and travel the world.
She's always been rather mischievous and petty, and that especially shows during one night. Emilie and Bob were supposed to go to a date together at the drive-in movies, but he showed up with another girl, and she decides to make him jealous. And how does she do this? Emilie recruits the infamous Dallas Winston (or Two-Bit Matthews) to be her date for the night, since he was looking for a girl to make out with anyway and just happens to be the person Bob Sheldon hates most.
She planned on never talking to Dallas/Two-Bit ever again, since he was a Greaser and she's too good to be with a Greaser... but surprisingly, Emilie is drawn to him and finds herself developing feelings for the Greaser boy. She's a Soc and he's a Greaser — it won't work out and she's bound to get in trouble for it, but Emilie goes for him anyway.
