Riley's P.O.V
It was now Saturday and I was waiting for the call to tell me where to meet Kian. I got a call and it was from Kian, he said "Meet me at the meadow in half an hour." I then said "Okay, I will." He then quickly added "Riley, don't do it, it's a trap." Then the line went dead. I made sure, I was alone so no one would know where I was going. I checked the house to make sure no one was there and no one was, then I headed to the meadow. I finally made it and I saw Kian walking up with *gasp* my mom. I was mad, yet I was being careful as I didn't want to get my brother killed. My mom finally said "On with the deal, he's safe in return for you." I was walking up to her when I heard "Riley no." My head snapped around and I saw Sam. I reacted before actions began to play out. I heard the shot and pushed Kian, so it wouldn't land in his heart. Instead it hit him clean in the shoulder. Sam called 911 and I watched my mom run away from both of her kids again. The ambulance arrived and I went in with Kian. When we got there I was told to stay in the waiting room while they took him for immdediate surgery. The rest of the group came and I didn't have to tell them what happened, as Sam had already done that, which I was grateful for. Andrea sat next to me and I wiped away her tears. She asked "Why aren't you crying, he's your brother." I responded "I need to be strong for you, just like you were for me." She put her head into my shoulder and bawled. I soothed her as we waited for the results from the doctor. Later on the doctor came out and said "New for Kian Brook's family?" I said "Over here." He asked "All of you?" I replied "Yes, now what's the news?" He replied "We were able to get the bullet out, he lost a lot of blood, but he is stable for now." He continued "He is in acoma and we are not certian how long that will be, it could be anywhere from days, to moths, to years." I gulped and he said "You may visit him, but one at a time." Andrea got up and said "I'm going first no objections and in she went."
