"ah! im late!" i got up and threw on some random clothes fixing my (h/c) hair and brushing my teeth.
i was really gonna be late for that baby sitting thing, damnit.
i raced down the street hopped on the bus and took in a deep breath before using my transfer and the bus driver smiled tim, young cool guy who was always busting his ass to get me to places i smiledback at him sitting in the seat closest i could get to him.
"i heard you got fired eh? what did you do ____.." he smiled knowing i had done something rather stupid to get fired or i had argued with my boss.
"oh.. you know.. just.. iknockedthiscustomerguyintheface..." i looked out the window and out of the corner of my eye swore i seen that boy again, the one with black hair who seemed to be crying or something like that, but i ignored it seeing that whoever it was had a friend with blonde hair next to him i shrugged i was spacing out and missed out on what tim was saying.
"did you hear me ____?" he was looking at me in the mirror raising an eyebrow.
"wha-huh?.. sorry Tim. im just a bit shaken up right now.. we'll talk later right?" i smiled at him getting off the bus
"sure kid, anything for my best and probably only bud." he tipped his hat he wore for fun and closed to doors driving away i giggled softly.
once i had gotten to the house i was supposed to be baby sitting at i knocked a little tune on the door, i waited for a moment smiling like a goof as the mother opened to door, and she smiled at me.
"you must be ____ the new baby sitter? my names katrina and these are my children."
she motioned to the twin boys and a little girl with raven hair who was playing with a doll on the rug and the boys where causing trouble as i would have guessed, twins can be that way.
"that would be me ma'am."
"please, come in, my husband will explain payment when he is finished getting ready, but until then,... make yourself and home love"
what made the woman interesting was her faint british accent and firey red hair.
this was gonna be fun.
