Happiness (Jessica & Irene)

Jessica and Irene got married at such young age and now their age almost reached thirties. They were living in happiness although both of them need to go against their parents in the past. Their parents despised their relationship so much because it will make them felt ashamed to have daughters like Irene and Jessica.

Irene's parents make an arranged marriage with their friend after their daughter admitted that she is a lesbian. They wanted Irene to get married with a guy and give them a grandchildren. Irene refused and told them that she only wanted Jessica not a random guy.

With an angrier emotion that built inside Irene's father, he decided to kicked her out from the house also family. There's no Bae Joohyun anymore according to her father. He also took everything from Irene like house, car, credit card living the poor woman with nothing.

On the same day, Jessica too got kicked out from the house and family by her own father. She bravely came out to them and her parents can't believe their daughter were falling in love with the same gender as her and it is sinful also that will bring shame to them both. He decided to kicked his own daughter from their life. Jessica already expected this will happened so she left her car key, credit card before her father asked for it. She said her last goodbye to her parents and quickly running away to meet with her lover.

Jessica were sitting on the couch at the living room doing her job like drawing her wife's face. She took a day off to spend her time with her wife but Irene is too busy with her work. She wait for her wife to come home since the latter always coming home late at night due to her job. Because of their hard work in study, Jessica managed to opened her own business while Irene finally reached her dream as a doctor.

She always come home late and sometimes forget about their anniversaries but Jessica never got angry at her because she love her wife so much. Without her knowledge, Irene already falling out of love with Jessica after she met Bogum. The guy is a new doctor and he always asked Irene out and she gladly accepted his offered. At first she felt guilty for doing these things behind Jessica but from time to time she felt nothing. She felt happy with Bogum and the happiness with Jessica before all gone just like a wind.

Jessica stop drawing and writing after she heard a sound of a car stopping in front of their house. She immediately running to the big window and took a peek outside. She saw Irene and the unknown guy were kissing and they almost having sex outside. She chuckled bitterly at herself.

She felt stupid for not noticing that Irene doesn't love her anymore. She felt stupid for not noticing that happy smile always appeared on her wife's face is not because of her but that guy. She felt stupid for not noticing that every morning Irene will holding her phone and texting happily with someone. Whenever she asked and Irene will said that was Seulgi her bestfriend at her workplace. So she believed it because she love her so much.

Jessica walking back to the living room and she quickly collecting her drawing books and notebook as she make a move straight to her private room more like a office room but there's a bed inside it. She put all her things on the bed and quietly thinking about the scene that she had witness earlier. She think she is not good enough for Irene that's why she falling in love with someone else. She think she is not a boy but girl and she can't give a child that's why Irene found someone else. She think the guy can give happiness to her wife so she finally make a decision.

A knocked on the door make Jessica coming back to reality and in a rush she hide her things while wiping her tears. It took her a few minutes to open the door for Irene and she let the latter in as she walked back to the bed. She's trying so hard to hide her pain by smiling a fake smile.

"What are you doing here?" Irene asked as she plop down on the bed beside Jessica.

"I was done finishing my work.." Jessica answered while admiring her wife's face.

"Why don't you d--" She got cut off by Jessica.

"Joohyun ah.." She hummed as a responded. "I was thinking a lot today.."

"What are you thinking about?" Irene hold Jessica hands.

"I want to let you go from my life.." Jessica being the blunt one like usual.

"What do you mean?!" Irene chirped angrily as she sat up on the king size bed.

"I know you have someone else now" Jessica chuckled bitterly.

"Baby .."

"I want to let you go because i know he can make you happy. I know he can give you everything specially baby because you love kids" Jessica hold Irene hands and give a kissed. "I don't deserve you because i can't give you babies. I don't deserve you because of me you got kicked out from your family. I know you missed your family. I don't deserve you because i can't make you happy.."

Irene immediately pulled her wife for a hug as they both were crying like a little girls. She felt sorry for the latter. The guilt finally built inside her. She forget that Jessica too risked her life, her happiness with her family just to be with her. She forget that Jessica too sacrificed everything just to be with her. Jessica even worked so hard to make their dreams come true. She forget everything after she met Bogum.

She felt Jessica hugged her too tight like she doesn't want to let her go yet.

"I know why this is happen to us.." Jessica sniffed as she talked. "We are really not meant to be babe.."

"W-what?" Irene looking so confused.

"I love you.."

Jessica took a gun on the nightstand beside the bed and pointed to her head. She smiled at Irene for the last time as she pulled the trigger.

BANG!!!

"Sooyeon ah!!!!!" Irene shouted.

Present

"Wake up.."

"Baby ~"

"Please wake up ~"

Irene heard a familiar voice calling her name and she felt someone gently shaking her body. She slowly open her eyelids then saw her wife sitting beside her with a worried expression.

"Are you okay baby? You were screaming while crying just now. What happened in your dream baby?" Jessica attacked her with a lot of questions.

She pulled the latter into a tight hugged. Jessica felt weird with her wife behavior but nonetheless she returned the hug back. She missed her wife so much.

"I love you Sooyeon ah.." Irene whispered.

"I love you more baby ~" Jessica chirped happily as she snuggled into Irene's body.

'I'm glad it was just a dream..' Irene thought as she hold Jessica closer to her.
