Loving You
Sometimes we're strangers,
Sometimes we're best friends.
There comes a time when you open up.
But then you close your heart again.
I know you're confused.
Honestly, I am too.
I don't know what I feel.
All I know is that you're all I need.
Your words are enough,
To break my heart.
But it's the silence,
That tears us apart.
I don't know what you want.
I don't know how you feel.
We're acting like strangers again,
You know it's killing me.
It doesn't take you a second,
To turn your back on me.
And the tears that I silently cry,
Are something you can't see.
Sometimes I wonder if I should let go,
But then you give me a reason to stay.
I wonder if you even know,
That I miss you night and day.
Loving you is not a choice,
It's like breathing.
I can't stop,
Even if that's what I want.
