Chapter 34

Alaskas POV

Last week was...CRAZY! Andy is in the middle of getting a divorce this reminds me of Ross from Friends when he says Rachel  instead of Emily. Today is my appointment to find out the gender of my baby, I can't decide if I want to find out then or want a gender reveal party.

"Ken I need help" I said "I don't know if I want to find out the gender then or-"

"you are having a gender reveal party" she cut me off "All of us including Andy already got everything ready we just need the envelope so we know which color balloons to get" she said 

"Okay never mind, when is this supposed to happen cause I don't want to wait long" I laughed 

"This Saturday so in two days" she smiled "it's a surprise so act surprised" I nodded and walked downstairs

"ready?" Andy asked 

"Of course" I said we left for the appointment.

"Alaska" the Nurse called and Andy and I followed her to the room where I was going to find out the sex of our baby she took my blood pressure and asked me a few question and wrote them down on in my folder and then brought in the machine for the ultrasound and got everything set up for the doctor "Alright the doctor will be in in just a minuet" she smiled

"Thank you" I smiled and looked at Andy "How is everything with Juliet?" 

"Stressful" he said "But where does this leave us?" 

"Until you are officially divorce then we can SLOWLY start things up again" I smiled 

"Hello Momma" the doctor said knocking on the door

"Hi" I said 

"Are you ready to find out the sex of your baby or do you want me to write it down on a piece of paper and out it in an envelope?"

"Can you write it down please?" I asked 

"Of course, now I'm going to put this jelly on your lower stomach and hear for baby's heartbeat and listen to yours, this is going to be cold so prepare yourself" she said putting the jelly on my lower stomach and rubbed the wand all over my stomach and looked for the baby and listened the heartbeat, she pressed a button that made us be able to hear the heartbeat "Very strong heartbeat from both baby and mommy, and here is your baby" she said pointing at the screen "As you can she your baby is waving at you" she said and pointed out that my baby hand was moving her/his hand making it look like he/she was waving at us. I started to tear up and so did Andy "Alright" she said turning the lights back on and turning off the machine and cleaning my stomach off  "Everything looks good very healthy baby" she said writing the gender of my baby on a piece of paper and putting it in an envelope "Here you go" she said handing me the results and the ultra sound pictures, "And your due date as of right now is January 7, 2017" she said

"Thank you" Andy said and we both left the appointment and headed home

"Give me this" Ken said grabbing the envelope and leaving with ash 

"Wait! I don't want you guys knowing before me" I said

"Relax, we are taking this to a company thats gonna do it for us" Ken said and they left 

"So I'm guessing Ken told you about Saturday?" Andy said

"Yes" I laughed as I was walking upstairs to lay down

"You alright?" 

"yeah just need to lay down" I smiled and headed off to take a nap. Can my gender reveal come any faster!!
