It took Bunsen 7 months, 3 days and 16 hours to create a device that would convert his brain waves into a virus that he would then use to take the government down. It would convert his brain signals into digital signals which would travel through the wires that connected the government buildings to his house. They would directly go to the server rooms and act as a virus, destroying all kinds of information and ultimately fry all devices in each building. He also had another project that he had almost completed, and with the help of a teleporting machine that he had created, he knew that all he needed was to get his latest invention to work. That way, he could shatter the rule once and for all. And above everything else, Dana would be his again.

The machine was attached to a football helmet he had found in the dumpster on his way to the city a few days ago. He cleaned and removed any kind of material that would interfere with the working of his device. As he sat in his old, worn leather chair and placed the helmet on his head, he took a deep breath. He was not prepared for this. At the same time, he felt like it was now or never. He entered the commands necessary to get the machine warmed up and took another breath before pushing a small round black button that sat beside his keyboard. As soon as he did, a smaller bulb above that button glowed green. Bunsen closed his eyes as the machine started whirring. Lights started flickering and a rhythmic series of beeps were being made by the devices. If one was there at Bunsen's lab at the time, they would say that the machine was going to work smoother than the sea on a calm day. And the machine got to work, Bunsen could feel himself drifting away. He hoped by the time this was over, he would have enough time to disappear and stay away from the clutches of the government. He kept his eyes closed. For him, it was only darkness that he saw. A darkness that kept getting darker and darker...
