My Mate is My Enemy

Prologue

"Someone please help me!". Yelled a man as much as he could as he hunched in pain, blood dripping from his hands. Leaves and branches could be heard crushing as someone approach the hurt man.

"Is someone there?" Said a strong voice getting closer and closer to the men he knew right away it was a werewolf.

"Over here please ... help me!" he yelled back with hope they won't attack him . The stranger approached the hurting men laying down on the dirt saying over and over again. "The hunters they will kill her! Please" he cried out "Please you must save her ... save my daughter I beg you." He said looking up with tears in his eyes pleading to the men.

"Your daughter? Where is she? Is she hurt?" Said the stranger.

"Yes ... she needs help ... she is inside a nearby cave." He said in pain. "please get her to a save place I don't matter but my daughter does."

"I will do what I can, you have my promise." Said the men he gave a loud howl and two more men came running towards his location.

"Yes Alpha?" said the two men.

"Take this men to my home and get him medical attention fast." He said.

"Right away Alpha." They said approaching the injured men and lifting him up carefully as they could .

The Strange man hurry to the nearby cave following the scent of blood. Going a bit deeper into the cave he came across a body of a young girl. He shifted back into human form making sure he put back on his clothes before he approach her. He got down on one knee to check on her, she looked like she was still breathing but she was very cold to the touch. He hurries and picked the girl up and made his way to his home as fast as he could fearing for the girls live.

"Papa..." whispered the girl.

Alpha's P.O.V

"Hang in there baby girl hang in there." I said running as fast as I could something about this girl smelled familiar. As I got to the view of my pack gates I shout it loudly for the doors to be open.

I made my way to my house kicking the door with my leg with the doctor running behind me. I laid the young girl on the bed and let the doctor do her job. The child seem to be about 3 years old, there where scratches on her face and all over her body I couldn't imagine what this child has gone thru.

"Will she be okay?" I asked worried.

"It's hard to say there seem to be some trauma to her head, and with her age... its very hard to say." Said the doctor as she examines her and began to clean the wound.

"Please inform me when you're done." I said leaving her to do her job without getting on the way. I made went to check on the father of the girl. I quickly found the right room seeing as some of warriors guarded the door.

"Alpha, the man is being treated at this minute." Said James one of my strongest warriors." And there's a  report two hunters pass our borders"

"Alright keep a close eye on them I dont want them anywhere near my pack , kill them on sight if they step into my territory", I said opening the door the men laid on the bed breathing loudly and cried out in pain as the doctor removed what seems to be a bullet from his left side. "How is he?" I asked.

"I recover all of the bullets from his wounds he will slowly heal as the bullets where made out of silver." He said as he bandaged the wound.

"My daughter ... how is she?" He gasps trying to speak over the pain.

"She is being check by the doctor at this minute it seems she suffer a wound in her head." I said looking at the man, I could see the life draining from his face as tears fell from his eyes.

"This is all my fault ... Everything is all my fault." he said.

"Can you tell me what happen?" I asked hesitating .

"We were ambush by some hunters ...apparently they were following us for a while ...I tried to get away but I couldn't... I wasn't fast enough...I wasn't good enough" he said looking lost. .

"What about the girl's mother?" I asked.

The man cried more as he shook his head. "My mate is gone; she didn't make it when Serenity was born."

"I'm sorry to hear that but if I may how is it that your still alive even thou your mate is gone?" I asked once the doctor was finished.

"Please Alpha, perhaps now it's not the time he needs some rest for today maybe could ask questions later." He said looking concern I nodded in approval.

"Thank you again for helping us, even thou you didn't need to, but I'm grateful for your help" He said I could see in his eyes that he was honest.

"It was nothing please get some rest." I said before leaving and closing the door behind me.

The day after I was inform of the child's health she seem to have gone into a coma but was healing well. I made my way to inform the father of the situation.

"Hello", I said as I opened the door the man laid resting with his eyes close he open them as soon as he saw me.

"Hello Alpha", he said sitting up from the bed lowering his head in respect. "How is my daughter?"

"Her wounds are recovering nicely unfortunately she is in a coma, the doctor says she will wake up soon and we won't know of any damage was done until then". I said looking at the men who's face was of full of terror.

"I can't lose her too" he said with tears in his eyes. After a few minutes of silence he spoke up. " If I may where am I ?" he asked

"This is the white craw pack." I said he looked a bit relieve to hear that.

"By any chance Alpha do you ever meet a woman named Delilah...Delilah Woodlock ?" he ask hopefully.

I froze in the sound of that name, "How do you know my sister?" I said hesitating.

"Then that means I made it ...my baby girl will be okay now." The men said giving a sad smile.
