Chapter 2

"Now that the team leaders have chosen we will now have the males pick there challenger and then we will have the females." Said the Alpha as the weather became darker and the smell of rain hit the air.

Each male member had there pick and soon begun fighting, David pick Nick and David won. While Luke Picked James and managed to win.

"Who would of thought Luke had it in him and when did he get a six pack."said Trixie amazed eyeing Luke up and down.I suppose knowone actually imagine he wound be totally fit, I didn't and that is for sure considering how much he actually ate.

"Now the female's! " said the Alpha.
Mollie picked her older sister Millie and Mollie won.
"Veronica who will you pick?" Asked the Alpha. Veronica looked around then her gaze fell apon me and she grin.

"Oh god! Please don't let it be me". I whispered to myself.

"Relax if you do then maybe this could be your chance." Whispered Trixie back hearing what I had said.

"Absolutely not." I said not wanted to do it, I did had intensive training for the past two year sense I managed to shift into my wolf. I was not yet old enough to even be consider ready for the challenges games, most players where eighteen or so or already have found a mate I in another hand lacks both.

"I'll pick Seren." She said.

"Shit " I said frozen and annoyed now she was just picking on me.

"Seren will you come on up" said the Alpha.

"Seren they're talking to you." Said Trixie pocking me on my side.

"What ... Oh " I said looking around everyone staring on me. I got up and walked up to stand beside Veronica.

"Your going down loser." She said filling her hair off her shoulder.

"You may begin when you wish " he said. I walked over to my position and made my stand when Mac walked up at me.

"Im sorry you got drag in this if I knew Veronica was gonna choose you I wouldn't have picked her." He said worried.

"It doesn't matter anymore." I said still thinking of what I was about to do.

"If it helps you might wanna remove the hoodie" He said in an awkward smile which he was right . I sigh and pull up my hoodie to remove it. As I did I could feel all eyes on me, I pass my hoodie to Mac who was still standing next to me and he was starring at me.

"What? " I said.

"Nothing ." said Mac then smiling at me as he waked away."Goodluck!."

The fight with Veronica took what it seem like forever, we where now both exhausted and cover in mud from the rain. Now shifting to your wolf was allowed but only on the last resort but it was a massive points reduction. And that was exactly what Veronica was about to do as her eyes turn full black out of anger.

"Now you will see who is better" yell Veronica as she leap and shifted, now a red copper wolf was now in front of me growling and was about to attack.

I blocked her first moves then she pined me down with her paws.

"What are you doing! you have to shift Seren!" Yelled Mac panicking. I didn't wanna shift it will mean I got nothing my wolf was furious with me to get her out but she understanded my reasons. I wasn't gonna give up she wasn't better then me and I didn't understand what was her problem. I adjusted my position still holding her head away from my face . Then I pushed her with my legs kicking her off me. She ran fully force at me with out hesitation, I step away at the last minute and swung my body grabbing hold of her neck . My actions where quick and it didn't give her anytime to react. I took her down using a choke hold.

Soon the crowd cheered and the horn was heared that it was all over. Victoria ran off to shift back and put on some clothes.

"You where amazing !" Said Mac running over.

"Thanks !" I said nervously. Victoria returned and looked even more furious.

"Now your team leaders will choose who will remain in your team. First we will go with Jonas."

"Obviously Lucas and Mollie " said Jonas and everyone cheer.

"Alright now Mac." Said Alpha.

"I'll pick David and ....Serenity ." Said Mac smiling at me.

"Ugh!" Yelled Veronica and storm of furiously.

"Welcome to the team guys." Said Mac .

"The next completion will be held in a four week so make sure you guys practice your fighting skills." Said Alpha releasing us and smiling at us.

Everyone went of to there own stuff and quickly Trixie ran over to hug me not caring about how messy I was.

"You where amazing !!! I'm speech less...... Wow!" She said as I roll my eyes and giggle.

" Congratulations Seren. " said Luke hugging me as well.

"Why are you congratulating me you do know we are so gonna have to fight against each other right." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Oh right...." He said thinking it over.

"Come on girl lets get into the showers I am dieing for a hot shower." Said Trixie grabing my arm giding me towards the packhouse .

(Luke's P.O.V)

I couldn't believe I had finally gotten the chance to prof my self what I didnt expect was to Seren to be in Mac's team.

I made my way to the nearest showers good think I had extra clothes.

As I got closer I heared a sound that sound like a angry whisper. As I got closer I could hear the conversation between two I hid behind the wall.

"How could you that wasn't the plan!!". Yell the female voice.

"Yeah well you where suppose to win ." said the Male in a calm voice.

"Bullshit! you wanted her from the beginning didn't you!." Accuse the female.

"Your nuts!." He said.

"Get her off your team or get rid of her!! " yelled the girl.

"Now why would I, the plan was for you to take her down and make her shift not you ." he said annoyed. "You ruin it on your own."

"That's not fair.!" She said. "I thought we had something!".

"Yeah well... you were wrong!" He said. "Now stay the hell away from her do you undestand." He threaten.

"This was your plan all along wasn't it ! Just so you know you will never have her !! As soon as she finds her mate you will be history!". She hisst.

"You are right but if the rumors are thru I will make sure to get her before she evens have the chance to find her mate." He said. I heard foot steps approaching so I went inside the building lucky the door was open.

"This isn't over Mac!" Yell the girl who I know realize was Veronica.

A few minutes pass until I coulnt hear. Footsteps or conversation.
I was pisst I had to get Seren away from Mac but how?.
