Miley's POV:
I'm so excited about the prom on Friday. Me and Logan are currently dress and tux shopping. There's so many pretty dresses, but none of them will look nice enough on me. I just hope I can get one that will look at least decent on me. I want to impress Luke, I'm not pretty or skinny like Lily. She gets all the boys attention and I never get a second glance. I'm used to it now but I just wish I was naturally beautiful and shinny not a beach whale. Logan says I'm not fat I just have a lot of curves but I know he's lying. No guy will ever like me, but it's worth a shot.
"Miley? Hello" Logan said waving his hand in front of my face looking at me with a worried expression.
"Sorry, what were you saying? I was daydreaming again" I said blushing.
"Haha, it's ok Miles which tux do you like?" He asked showing me two different tux a black one with gold lining and a pure white one. I looked at both, the white one would really bring out the complexion of his skin.
"Hmm I like the white one" I said looking at Logan "It's different and I think it would be really nice on you"
"Really? Do you think so?" He said smiling that gorgeous smile. Wait! Did i just say that?! No I can't think that about my best friend. I don't like him like that, I love Logan. Don't I? Yeah but only as a friend.
"Yeah I think you should try it on" I said ushering him into the changing room. While I was waiting I saw a shop across the way filled with beautiful dresses. Maybe there will be one that will suit me.
"Logan, I'm going over to the dress shop across from here, text me when your done ok?" I asked while waiting for a reply.
"All right Miles" I made my way into the shop, all the dresses were so beautiful I wanted to try on every dress that I could but they probably wouldn't fit me. They all looked quite small. I walked around for a while until one particular dress caught my eye. It was pale blue with a silver band around the waist and silver lining along the bottom. It looked like a dress from a Disney princess movie. It was my size too! I stared in awe looking at the price tag. $500. Woo I could never afford that I thought to myself.
"Hello pretty lady, can I help you with something?" Someone said behind me. I turned around to face a cute looking guy staring at me. He looked around my age maybe older. He had tan skin with a honey glow, brown hair and big brown eyes that you could get lost in. He stood smiling at me. I was speechless. No good looking boys ever stop to talk to me. Guys like him only talk to me to get Lily's number
"Umm uh no I was just looking" I said blushing slightly. He smiled at me.
"That's a pretty dress for a pretty lady" He said looking into my eyes. I could stare at him all day. I blushed and lowered my gaze to the floor finding my worn out high-tops suddenly interesting.
"Thanks, but I'm not pretty" I said. Why was he being so nice to me?
"What?" He said genuinely shocked at my statement.
"I said I'm not pretty, I'm no-where near as pretty as any of the other girls. I'm ugly, fat, and boring" I said feeling tears starting to build up in my eyes ready to spill. He gasped.
"Listen here missy, I know I have only met you and don't know a lot about you but I can tell you one thing, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life, your brown eyes are so bright and full of life I could look at them all day, your hair is so pretty and natural not fake like most girls. Should I even mention your body. Damn girl you are sexy! And don't let anyone tell you otherwise you hear me?" He said putting a finger under my chin and raising my head causing me to looking into those gorgeous eyes again. A tear trickled down my cheek.
"That's the sweetest thing anybody has ever said to me, especially a boy" I said to him. "My names Miley by the way" I said exchanging my hand.
"What a beautiful name I'm Ryan" He said shaking my hand.
"Hey Miles there you are, I text you ages ago" Logan said walking up beside me.
"Oh sorry, I didn't hear my phone" I said looking up at him. He had an annoyed look on his face. Was he annoyed at me? I didn't mean to keep him waiting.
"Whatever, it's ok, come on lets go. Lily wants us to go to her house, she said something about dresses" He said sighing.
"Alright well I will see you around Ryan" I said before beginning to walk past him Logan by my side. I felt a tug on my arm, I stopped and turned around.
"Can I get you number please?" He said biting his lip. It looked so sexy, I just wanted to kiss him so bad. Oh god what am i saying?
"Sure" We exchanged numbers and me and Logan headed to Lily's house. I couldn't help but think about Ryan, He was so sweet and all of the things he said to me made my heart race. I hope he contacts me. I would love to see him again.

Ryan's POV:
This has been the best day of my life. I can't believe I met such a beautiful girl like Miley. She is such an amazing person. I've only known her for an hour but I think I'm in love.
I've never felt like this about a girl before. I would love to see her again. Maybe I should ask her out now? No it's too soon.
"Ryan your on clean up duty" My manager Rick said before walking out of the store and getting into his fancy BMW. Ugh I'm always on clean up duty. I walked over to the dresses fixing them on the hangers again until I stopped at the one dress Miley was looking lovingly at earlier. What didn't she buy it? It would look amazing on her especially with those curves she has. I looked at the price tag $500. Oh that's why!
Maybe I should get it for her, I don't care how dear it is. Anything for my girl. Wait did I say that? She's not my girl, but I hope she will be soon I thought while I put the dress in the rack. Yeah I think I will buy her that dress.

Logan POV:
Ugh I'm so annoyed at that Ryan guy. Did you see him flirting with Miley? I wanted to punch that guys face for even looking at her. No guys look at my Miley like that especially not guys like him who only use girls for one thing and then clear off never to be seen again.
I will NOT let that happen to her!!
"Logan are you ok? Miley said looking at me with a worried expression." I'm sorry I didn't answer your text, I didn't hear it I promise you" She said quietly. Aww she thinks I'm annoyed at her. I could never be annoyed at her.
"Awk Miles I'm not annoyed at you, I'm annoyed at that guy Ron or what ever you call him that was practically eye raping you" I said started to get mad clenching my fists tighter on the steering wheel. She looked at me shocked, while playing with a strand of her beautiful brown hair.
"What you mean Ryan? He wasn't eye raping me. Why would he want to look at me like that?" What? Why wouldn't he, she has an amazing body. " I mean I'm not pretty like Lilly or skinny. I'm a beach whale." She said trying not to cry.
I turned to look at this girl i've known my whole life, how could she not see how amazing she is. She has killer curves that make all the guys drool over her. I've seen the way they look at her and i've had to keep the boys in our school in line. All of them want to date her. She thinks no boys like her well she is most defiantly wrong.
"Miley you are the most amazing person I know, you are so sweet, kind and loving. You have the most amazing body I have ever seen. And your so beautiful babe and I'm not lying."
"Thank you Logan, you are the best friend I could ever ask for" She said perking up a bit a big smile plastered on her face. I couldn't help but feel a bit hurt when she just called me her best friend. I want to be more. But I know she doesn't feel the same way. Being her best friend will have to do as long as I get to spend time with her. But I will not let that Ryan guy inter fear. No-way!
