Chapter 7

When Amelia woke up, she instantly panicked. Where was she?! Just then, last night came rushing back to her, and she panicked again but for a different reason. The only things that Allison and Amelia could find about what was happening to her all said that she was dying. Not even Allison's parents could come up with another explanation.

Frowning the girl sat up. She was sleeping on an air mattress beside Allison's bed. The young hunter was still asleep so Amelia grabbed the outfit that Allison had given her to change into. She walked to the bathroom before quickly changing into dark wash jeans and a forest green shirt that matched her eyes. She then brushed her teeth with a spare toothbrush and splashed water on her face before leaving the room. She folded the borrowed pajamas and sat beside the hamper before letting the air out of the mattress. She then wrote a quick note to Allison, explaining that she had gone home to get her school supplies and that she would see the girl at school.

Derek was still asleep when the chimera reached the loft so she packed a quick lunch of broccoli and cheese soup in a thermos and put toast in the toaster. She then sat down at the table to wait, however, when she sat down she instantly blacked out.

Faith woke up with a smirk on her face. Her eyes began to return to their natural shade of blue seeing as her eyes switched to the color when she used her grace. She got out of bed and snapped her fingers to get ready immediately, and raced down the stairs when she left her room. She grabbed her lunch bag quickly from the kitchen.

"Can't talk now, gotta get to school early, thanks bye," she said quickly before leaving the apartment with a flash.

She showed up in front of the school and went in. She walked right past her locker and up to the McCall Pack.

"Hey guys, I just wanted to apologize for my attitude and start over. Hi, I'm Faith, and who's the cute one?" She asked, glancing at the boy she had run into once.

Liam steadily ignored the girl. In another world, he would have blushed and tried to stutter out an answer, but that wasn't what happened today. Instead, he turned to the rest of his pack, "Guys, where is Lia? The bell rings in three minutes and she's not here."

Allison had a worried look on her face as she shrugged in response. "She slept over, and she was fine when she left to go get her things from her house." After Allison said this, however, she turned back to the Nephilim, not wanting to ignore her and be rude, despite that's what she knew the girl would have done to Lia. "As much as we appreciate you for apologizing, it's not us that you need to say that to, it's Lia. Who isn't here."

Faith pouted when the cute boy ignored her before turning her attention to Allison.

"Lia? Oh right! Well, uh...she's passed out at home." She said before smacking her forehead.

"She's passed out. I gotta get there and help her again. See you guys in a bit, you too cutie" Faith said before disappearing from the pack.

She showed up in the Hale loft and placed her fingers against Amelia's forehead when she found her. Her eyes turned a dim shade of gray with a hint of red and healed Amelia before stepping back as her eyes returned normal.

Amelia slowly woke up, looking around before realizing that she had passed out yet again. "Crap, it's happening even more," the girl commented to herself before realizing that she wasn't alone. She looked at the girl with blurry eyes before she focused and realized who it was. "Why are you here, want to try and kill me again?"
