I get off the plane sad, for some reason I actually brought Mason back with me to L.A

Flashback

"You are what?" I swear my eyes were wide enough that if they were any wider my pupils would jump out.

"I am an orphan, are you deaf? And close your mouth."

I immediately shut my mouth and stare at Mason in amazement "Where did you grow up?"

"In an orphanage."

I couldn't get my self to look any where else but his eyes. Somehow they seem to get a lot more darker than before.

"Have you ever met your parents?"

He nods "I was five, I had an older sister as well. We were in a car together on our way to the beach." He stops "It was all my fault actually, I needed to use to washroom and my dad got distracted trying find some place for me pee that he didn't see the deer in front of him. He dodge the deer but we hit a truck instead. They say that the reason I didn't die was because I was in a baby car seat. They say I was lucky enough to live." He had tears in his eyes "That isn't lucky, I would have been lucky if I died with them. I had to grow up alone, by myself. No one told me what's good and what's bad. If I had died I wouldn't end up this way."

I felt a stray tear fall off my face. I reach across the table and take his hands in mine. "Don't say that you would have wanted to die and your parents and sister dying wasn't your fault."

"It's true, I am so messed up right now that if you knew than you would run the other way."

I shake my head "Be thankful that you have your life, God gave you this chance to live. He probably has something planned for you."

He snorts "I think god is going to make my life a living hell until I actually go to hell."

"Gosh I didn't know you were such a negative person."

He stares at me intently for a second "Tell me something about your family and your life."

"Well I have a mom and a dad but i didn't know i had a dad until last year. My parents just got married? I have a half sister named Natalie. I lived and California all my life. And now I am here in London." I just tell him what I tell everyone else here in London and nothing more.

"You are leaving a lot of things out, why are you all the way here in London England?" His eyes looked as though they could right through me.

I sigh "I am only going to tell you my story since you told me yours."

He nods satisfied.

"I left because I couldn't handle love."

Mason raises an eyebrow and i shrug

I ignore him "I left everything behind because the guy I loved, my boyfriend used me for money."

"So you cheated on your boyfriend."

End of flashback

"Vicki!"

I look up "Oh my god Jake!" I run over and give her a hug

"Welcome back."

I smile "Thanks, How's Nat."

"She's great,loud, happy, sad, angry."

I chuckle "Well what do you expect, she is pregnant."

"If this was what would happen I would have ever done the deed."

I cringe "Keep the deed to yourself."

Jake's eyes soon falls to the figure behind me and I almost slap myself for forgetting the dude behind me.

Jake's eyes narrows "Who are you?"

Mason steps forward "My name is Mason, I am Victoria's boyfriend."

They shake hands and have a silent knowing talk by just facial expressions, boys and their weird expressions.

"He is not my Bo--"

I get cut off when two arms envelope me from behind, I turn around to find my mom standing there with a big smile "I missed you."

"I missed you too mom, how's the diner, how's Brad." I could never really call Brad my dad, it just felt to weird.

"Diner is doing great, really great and Brad is just wonderful, he wanted to be here but a meeting came up from work, he wanted me to tell you he missed you and he would be back as soon as possible."

I smile "Damn have I been gone that long?"

She nods "Well yes, I mean come on why did you have to move so far away."

I shrug, when people asked me why I broke it off with Jared, I would just tell them that I got bored. Well that's what I told everyone including Jared.

FlASH BACK

I walked in to the bar, drinking and drinking and drinking.

Jared had effected me more than I wanted him to but I knew in my heart that I had already fallen for him.

My phone ringed again but I rejected the call. There was already 20 missing calls, 15 from Jared and 5 from Natalie.

I took my time, drinking, dancing with random strangers.

My phone buzzed again and this time I was drunk enough to pick it up "Helloooooo." I dragged out.

"Tori, where the hell are you!!!!"

I smirk "Oh hey Jared."

"Are you drunk? Why did you leave the dance?" Worry was laced in his voice, the Worry which was probably fake.

"I got bored at the dance."

I heard him sigh "Tori, tell me where you are I am going to come get you."

"No, who are you to tell me what to do Jared?"

I knew his teeth were clenched by the way he is speaking "Tori, I am your boyfriend, now tell me where you are."

"No Jared, we are breaking up, you are no fun anymore and I got bored." I lied with tears in my eyes.

His breath hitched as I said those words. "You don't mean it Tori, you know I love you and I know you have feelings towards me so why are you doing this to us?"

"Like I said Jared, I am bored of you." I hanged up the phone and ran in to the bathroom crying to myself.

END OF FLASHBACK

I shrug "I wanted to have new experiences I guess."

My mom nods at me not quite believing what I said, her direction goes from me to Mason "And who is this young man?"

Mason shakes my mom's hand "Mason Corelli, madam." His British accident clearly voicing out.

My mom smiles warmly at Mason "Nice to meet you Mason and please call me Jamie."

Mason nods and I pull him away from the crowd "You got to stop telling people you are my boyfriend, if rumours spread, I am screwed."

Mason smiles innocently at me "What are you breaking up with me?"

I smirk "Well since your the one that brought it up, I have been thinking about it."

Mason comes closer, "You wouldn't dare."

I take a quick step back and laugh a shaky laugh "Sucks for you, we aren't even dating."

His face turns in to a frown and then he smirks "What if I." He comes closer and brings me towards him. He leans down and his lips meets mine.
