Time to meet the famous aviation battleship sisters, Ise and Hyūga. Let's jump right in.
Being dragged along was something fairly new for Hawk, seeing as how most girls here didn't wanna see him get hurt due to his fragile nature.
But Hyūga was a completely different story. Whenever they had a meeting of the Zuiun Appreciation Club and he was late, she would basically look for him like a blood hound, and when she found him, he would feel the pain from being pulled for a day or two.
He admired both sisters, Ise and Hyūga. To him, they were like giants, ready to destroy fleets with one salvo from their huge 41cm double gun mounts. To be honest, every ship larger than him, he admired. (a good example is Kiyoshimo admiring Musashi, since Kiyoshimo wants to become a battleship)
But, considering his size and weak armor, he was always treated well and kindly. Especially by these two. Ise admired his guts and heart, while Hyūga admired him for his strength and knowledge (not to mention he adored Zuiun, even if he was about the same size or even smaller than one).
"Pick up the pace, Hawk, we're keeping the others waiting."
"Hyūga, how about we slow down a bit? He's not looking so well." Ise always made sure her sister didn't kill Hawk by way of dragging him everywhere.
"What do you mean? He's fine. Right, Hawk?"
She stops and turns around, only to see Hawk dizzy and tired. He was about to fall, when Ise caught him.
"Are you okay? You know how Hyūga can be, no need to be angry at her."
"I-I'm not angry..." still dizzy. "She's excited, so I don't mind. Right?" he looks at Hyūga.
"I guess so, but I would never want to hurt you. You realise that, don't you?"
"I-it's okay, I don't mind as long as you're happy," a smile on his face as he said that.
"Hawk, you know how we feel about that. It's not okay to think like that, even with such a kind heart as yours. You never know when something bad will happen." Ise helped him back on his feet while simultaneously scolding him.
"I know, I know. But I can't help it since you know... I am still thankful for being here... For all of you being my friends and allies... I feel like I've been blessed with something absolutely amazing."
"You can stop being cheesy, Hawk, we get it."
"Really? I can go on. I have a lot more cheese prepared."
They all just laugh and continue their way. Despite him being extremely shy, he was always loose and relaxed around Ise and Hyūga. Like they were more than just friends and allies...
"Oh, right, I almost forgot." Ise turned to him: "Hawk, do you what's special about today's meeting?"
He shakes his head, making Ise smile.
"It's okay if you don't know, it is supposed to be a secret."
"Come on, Ise, we're already late. We should hurry."
"Okay, Hyūga. Wanna do our procedure, Hawk?"
A huge smile appears on his face as he nods so much his head might fall off. It looked like he was sparkling from excitement.
"Alright, let's do it."
Ise grabs Hawk's right hand and kneels. He steps on her knee with his right foot and swings his left behind Ise's head. She pulls his arm and lowers her head while grabbing his left hand with her left. Hawk's foot lands on her left shoulder and he jumps of her knee as she stands up. He lands on her shoulders, sitting and smiling. She lets go of his hands and grabs his feet.
Ise&Hawk: "Remodel complete!"
Hyūga can't help but smile at their acrobatic performance: "How many times did you guys rehears that move?"
"About 10 times. He learnt to raise his foot more."
They looked so different, yet so matching. Ise wears a nontraditional miko outfit with a brown skirt instead of a hakama. She wears knee thighs with a distinctly Japanese weave, and sandals and underneath a skintight black undershirt, while Hawk wears long blue pants, navy blue T-shirt, sneakers and a cute little cap, borrowed from the Etorofu-class of destroyer escorts.
They looked like a mismatched totem pole. But they fit together so well. And upon the remodel, both of their abilities increase. Not for battle, of course, but to have fun.
"Come on, Hyūga! You said we were late, so why are you just standing there?" Ise joked as the two were running to the meeting point.
"Hey, that's cheating! You just got remodeled!" as she runs after them.
Sorry for the wait. I had to rewrite the whole thing, but I had a better idea, sooooooo...
