a sigh escaped thin lips, condensation whirled into a small cloud of fog and vanished swiftly once a gust of air coming from wheein blew at it. "stop being so childish." byulyi chided at the younger.

wheein's bottom lip protruded and her brows crinkled, it lasted less than a second before she broke out into a jubilant grin. a pronounced dimple mocked at byulyi, only further causing the elder to roll her eyes. wheein bounced on the balls of her feet as youthful giggles left her mouth, filling the emptiness of silence ringing in byulyi's eardrums. as much as the greasy woman wanted to sneer at wheein and turn away in disgust, she found herself erupting into a bout of cackles.

short moments later, yongsun and hyejin arrived outside to the scene of wheein and byulyi holding onto each other while the sound of laughter surrounded them. hyejin and yongsun exchanged a glance and shrugged at one another. yongsun bit her lip to keep herself from breaking into her own world of giggling fits. a nudge to her shoulder from wheein and she was gone. her own dolphin like laughs blended in with wheein and byulyi.

a huff of frustration left hyejin's ruby lips, she reckoned their poor driver must have been parked there for twenty minutes or so. she wasn't so sure if having wheein and byulyi in the vehicle would have been better or worse for the driver, probably worse. hyejin just wanted to be out at a restaurant with good food and alcohol.

with a tug on byulyi's arm, hyejin yanked the woman away from their laughing fit. hyejin only stared at the elder with a blank expression until byulyi's cackles died down in a matter of minutes. a clear of her throat and she sheepishly rubbed at the back of her neck before ducking into the car.

byulyi fiddled with her fingers as she waited for her friends to join her. heat spread from her neck to her cheeks as she thought about hyejin just standing there unamused, watching her laugh at nothing. embarrassed was an understatement.

"drunk on giggles, yeah i saw that." hyejin's voice blurted, killing the deafening silence byulyi was in. "drunk. on. giggles." wheein wheezed between her own childish giggles, her head falling on hyejin's shoulder.

the minutes counted themselves down in byulyi's head the whole ride to the restaurant. she couldn't help but to feel a little tensed. hopefully once she reaches the alcohol it'll loosen her up and let her not be suffocated in her thoughts made up of hyejin.

"let's go!" wheein was first to dash out the car when it came to a halt in front of a chill dine in. byulyi was last to part from her seat in the vehicle, a sharp gasp leaving her lips from the night air that dropped a few degrees.

hyejin sat beside byulyi inside the restaurant, as for yongsun beside wheein. byulyi found it difficult to focus properly so she turned her attention to the woman next to her. hyejin was resting her chin in her palm, a slight pout dressing her full cerise lips from the pressure of her hand. eyelashes resting against soft cheeks casted a certain delicate glow to her fierce features. aware of the corners of her mouth upturning into a loving smile, byulyi bit the inside of her cheek. god, she was so in love.
