 "Maine, masaya ka?" Alden softly asks her as they stay seated on the grassy area, watching the moon and its light hitting the cold water, creating a very beautiful reflection.
"Oo, Alden. Salamat," Maine responded, looking at the scenery they are noticing with their expressive eyes. "Maine," Alden called unto her and she intently looked at him in the eye. "Hayaan mo na sa gabing ito, kalimutan muna natin silang lahat. Gawin natin ang mga bagay na magpapaligaya sa 'tin. Kahit sa gabi lang na 'to. Hayaan natin ang kung ano mang mangyari." "Sige, Alden. Bahala na," Maine responded earning a smile from Alden.
"Hay, 'yang ngiti mong 'yan. Richard, tigil-tigilan mo 'ko!" "Ano?" "Ngiting tagos hanggang bone marrow." They sigh.
"Sana, ganito na lang. Sana, 'di na matapos 'tong gabing 'to, Maine."
"Sana nga, RJ. Pero wala tayong magagawa eh. Sulitin na lang natin 'tong pagkakataon na 'to. Na kahit papaano, nagkasama tayo ngayon, kahit ilang araw na lang babalik na tayo sa Pilipinas," Maine responds.
"Babalik tayo rito, pangako," Alden mentions, making Maine smile.

 "Nicomaine Dei," Alden calls upon her, making her face redden due to the extreme romantic excitement she's experiencing. He never really called her by her two full names.
"I want you to know, before this night ends and the beautiful scenery in front of us disappears," he continues, "I'm so lucky to have met such an amazing woman in this borrowed life of mine. Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza, I love you," ending his message with a kiss on her hand. "Richard, napakaswerte ko rin na nakatagpo ako ng isang tulad mo sa magulong mundo na ito. Buong buhay kong pahahalagan ang ano mang meron tayo. Richard Reyes Faulkerson, Jr., mahal din kita."
Then, their lips meet for a long, passionate kiss full of love.
