i looked at the backs of my eyelids as an unfamiliar feeling of fear and happiness built up in my stomach, i was so confused at what was going on, last thing that i remembered was me going to sleep in my bed. my eyes flutter open to see a tall handsome blonde man. his golden eyes was the sunlight that pierced my grey storm of eyes, i felt butterflies deep inside of my gut but i smiled at him even though i was confused about what was going on. i could tell that he was nervous too which shocked me.i should've run or shouted but i quickly realized it was a dream that i couldn't control. i brought my hand up to his cheek.
"if you want to back out, now is the chance" i whispered to him against my will, i thought he would leave or kiss me but he smirked at me and brushed his hand against mine.
"i did not spend three hours with Izzy telling me what to do to back out now" he said. my heart was racing faster when he smiled at me, he had an enchanted smile that blinded me from the world around me. He was the most handsome man i have ever seen in my whole life.
i looked down at myself to see myself strapped in a long lace dress that was as gold as the blonde guys eyes. i had white vines climbing up my body until it parted around my waist to make a belt. my long raven hair -that was wrapped up in a low bun with two pieces of hair sticking out of the side- against my aureate dress was like the day and the night rising at the same time. i looked around at the people who sat neatly on the black velvet chairs that each had a gold ribbon that shined from the large crystal with some weird symbol on it.
I turned to meet a beautiful girl who looked like me, she had the same height as me, the same jett black hair as me. although she had dark brown eyes unlike me. she wore a tight blood red dress that was a second skin on her, her body outlined a strange symbol between the breasts - the same symbol i had on my chest. i picked up a small silver cylinder object with a white crystal at the end of it. The blonde guy did the same. he pressed it to my chest and drew something ,i felt a sting as he drew swirls on my body. i did the same to him.
"we are here to witness the marriage of Emabelle Lightwood and Jace Wayland" a ghoul looking person with their mouth sown shut, why wasn't i scared? he looked terrifying why wasn't anyone worried that there was a ghoul in the room.
i saw a tall black haired man dressed in black standing behind Jace smiling at me. i chuckled at him and turned my attention back to Jace who looked at me with a look that a look that said this is what i want. but that didn't last long soon his happy look turned to a look of fear.
a scream pierced my ear as i felt something wet fall on my feet. i looked down to see moonlit color stick out of my gut. a sword, why wasn't i screaming? i had just been impaled by a sword.
"Jace" i whispered softly as i fell down into a pool of scarlet. Jace was at my side in a second. he placed my head in his lap, his white tuxedo had more blood on it then the blood that was flowing down the wooden steps. his salty tears dripped onto my torso. i struggled my head up to look at him.
"Jacey, don't cry" i groaned at him as my hand wobbles to wipe his tears from his red wet eyes.
"i'm not crying, it's just allergies" he said wiping his stray tears. i croaked a painful chuckle and then groaned in pain as i felt a thousand little soldiers stab me repeatedly in my heart.
"ow... don't make me laugh, it hurts" i groaned. "just promise me you will move on"
"no, you will be alright and we will be married. just like i promised you" he said, i reached my hand to his face.
"Jacey, promise me" i demanded weakly. he shook his head, i held the agony i had kept away in my chest. "Jace i'm dying, i feel it" i whispered "promise me you will move on"
he shook his head aggressively "no, you will be fine" I managed to roll my eyes at him.
"J..Jace, you can't remove the blade without killing me or I'll die of blood loss" I was honest with him "promise me".
"Fine, I promise" he sighed. All of a sudden the pain I felt was numb. A bright light flickered in front of my face like a stage light shining in my face, I should've looked away, why didn't I look away.
My body was a leaf that fell from the tree, old and weak being floated away by the winds to a new life, a better life.
I breathed deeply one last time and looked up at Jace's red veiny eyes. I felt the numbness sweep over me.
"Emily" I heard a voice in my ear "Rebecca is home and she is cooking, it's a miracle" I opened my eyes to see a tall man with hair of dark chocolate and eyes to match. he hovered over my sleepy body.
"seriously Simon and come on Becky doesn't cook" i groaned while i flipping my lifeless body on my soft bed.
"and we have to meet Clary at Java Jones" he said pulling me back on my back. i grabbed the pillow under my head and hit it in his face. he stumbled back and grabbed the pillow and threw it in my face.
"you're so violent at pillow fights" he said through his teeth while hitting with the pillow.
"i was born violent" i admitted. truth was that i was very violent and i didn't know why, i think thats why Clary and Simon hang out with me.
"not that i would remember" i looked down at myself. i was covered in these black swirls - the same swirls as the people in my dream- i wanted to know what they meant. Simon sat down in front of me, his hands squeezed mine. they felt so warm in my hands.
"i promised you we would find out about your past" i looked up at him "i'm a man of my word"
i looked deeply into his brown eyes, it blew my mind that this boy was bullied he was beautiful. but nobody at school never saw what i saw, that was a kind, handsome, sexy boy. i have had a crush on Simon since i met him but he always had eyes for Clary, my best friend.
"thanks Simon" i smiled at him. moments later Simon started babbling about Clary but my mind wandered back to the hot blonde guy. why were we getting married? was that a dream or a memory?
