The Titans

New Threat

Erens eyes suddenly fluttered open as he looked around with a face that asked more questions than there are answers.

"What happened?" He asked nervously.

"I don't know myself. First thing, you got swallowed by a Titan, then an explosion rang out and devastated half the city between walls Rose and Sinu." Armin said with concern for the rest of the Scouts.

"And then what?" He asked with pure fear on his face.

"Then we woke up in this place, looks like the forest just outside of wall Maria. Then some Titans wound up fighting, and you came out of the last one that went down." Mikasa spoke this time. "I thought you were dead." She added emotionally.

"That explosion must have thrown us extremely far out of the city if we ended up here." You said nervously

"In fact the blast alone should have killed us!" Eren said groggily.

"I'm just glad you're okay." Mikasa said as she cried into his shoulder.

"Um, guys! I hate to break up this reunion, get your weapons ready!" You said with a chill going down your spine.

"What is it!?" Armin asked with a feeling of dread.

"L-look!" You replied, pointing towards the forest.

When he looked, he saw several pairs of glowing red eyes staring back at him. He replaced his blades, and got his gear ready.

The creatures growled, but ran away while whimpering. The four were left shocked, but confused, until out of nowhere a Titan came up behind them and they froze with fear.

"Run!" You yelled, putting foot towards some buildings in the distance followed by Armin and Eren, but when Mikasa tried to follow you but she got grabbed by the Titan.

"Mikasa!" Eren yelled, you turned around and cut its fingers off, then swung back around and caught Mikasa. Your gas ran out and you hit the ground hard, rolling on your stomach from the force of the landing. Armin gulped then ran back to help you and her up before you all ran from the creature. You growled from the blade that is in your leg, and adrenaline took over, blocking out most of the pain.

"Guys! My gas is out! Any ideas?" You asked frantically as you ran.

"I got one!" Eren said with enthusiasm and aggression.

He swung around the Titan without his gas, and reeled up to its nape. He plunged the sword into the nape and broke the blade, and did the same with the other one as blood sprayed everywhere. The Titan collapsed and disintegrated into steam. You and the others ran towards the buildings and into the main gates, with Eren, you, and Mikasa all covered in blood.

People looked at you funny, and some with fearful expressions as you ran through the streets.
You didn't care or notice, you just had to find the Scout Regiment commander and report what happened.

Meanwhile, a man in a tower saw the Titan fall, and got in an airship to alert the authorities. He made his way to the city and went directly to the police station. A few minutes later he came out and saw you run past.

"Hey! Wait a minute!" Ozpin called for you, who stopped and backtracked.

"You're all covered in blood, and judging by what I saw, you must have been the ones who killed that giant?" Ozpin asked casually.

"The Titan? You saw it? From so far away?" You asked with disbelief.

"That tower on the cliff is my school designed to train warriors. I didn't see you as a person, but I saw a giant, or as you just called it, a Titan, collapse and disintegrate. Please come with me." Ozpin said cryptically.
