Chapter 6

Cindy is trembling as her phone continues to ring. "Please answer Jimmy, please answer" She said but then a flashback happen. 'You never change Vortex, you tried to be that sweet girl I've encountered but I always knew your rotten attitude would appear and right now, it is definitely showing'. She then slowly pull the phone away from her. 'Jimmy I-I'm sorry" Cindy said biting her lip her eyes is watery. "Sorry? You did this purposely!" Jimmy yelled wincing. "I-I-I didn't mean to..I wasn't thinking" Cindy said taking Jimmy's hand but jimmy pushed her away. "You never think anyway. Just get away from me, I can't believe I even call you my best friend, I don't want to see you ever again" Jimmy said' She heard and saw it all in her head. She felt her heart shred into pieces once again. 'Breaking people's trust.. That's what you always do anways, Jimmy is right' She heard Betty say.

"BEEEEEP!! Hi its Jimmy. Sorry if I'm not able to answer but do leave a message BEEEEPP! " Her phone said.

"Sorry" She's able to let out in a soft voice. Suddenly she heard that someone is unlocking the podlock outside thhe door so she quickly exit the call and put it in her bag and hid it under a slanted flywood. She carried a few boxes so it wouldn't be seen. Then the door flew opened and the kidnappers threw Libby and Betty inside.

"Libby" Cindy said running towards her friend and help her up. "You okay? " Cindy asked. She first hesistated to help Betty but her conscience won so she did.

"Yeah we're good" Libby said. Cindy then put an arm around Libby and Betty as the two hugged her aas she rubbed their backs.

"You try and escape again, we won't hesitated to pull the trigger" Said one while pointing his gun at the three.

"You jerk! Why don't you show us your Ugly Faces! I bet you look like a mixture of horse and pig!" Betty yelled angrily

"Shh! " Cindy said as she put a hand on Betty's mouth. Betty pushed herself away from Cindy and rushed towards the kidnappers. "Betty! " Cindy called but she ignored her.

"So you think you can kill?! I already know what you want! You want money you gold diggers! If you kill us you won't get what you want!" Betty exclaimed kicking one kidnapper's groin making him groan, Cindy saw the man pick up the gun and she quickly rushed and pushed Betty out of the way but she didn't get lucky she got hit in the head with the gun.

"Cindy! " Libby yell as she run towards her best friend.

"Let me at her! " The one betty kicked yelled

"Shut up, don't fight the kids" The first kidnapper said, the one who really oposses the plan.

"Yeah, don't fight them... Yet" The boss said with an evil grin. Betty looked and saw that Cindy had a swollen lip and her head is bleeding. She felt her blood boil but remain silent as she hugged Cindy and let her cry on her chest while brushing her hair, Libby rubbed her back.

"If you didn't fight then that wouldn't have happen." Said the boss as they remain looking at the three who looks scared but refuse to let their guards down.

Jimmy just shoowered and got dressed. He then walk towards his desk to check his phone.

1 miss call : Cindy V.

His eyes widened as he quickly picked it up, he then saw one voice mail and pressed play. Its silent in the first 3 seconds but then it was followed by "Sorry" he heard Cindy say and he quickly sat on his desk. He then rushed towards the lab and then dialed Sheen and Carl's number.

"I can't believe I forgot about her phone, I can trace where it is! " He said getting his hopes up. He then turned his computer on and typed several codes. Then a red dot started blinking. A knock on the door was then heard and he quickly slam the button to let his best friends fall inside the tube. "Guys! I found them! " Jimmy yelled happily.
