"There has to be an exit somewhere' Cindy thought as she walk around the place
"Cindy, I know we're in a restless situation but can you atleast settle down for awhile... You're making me dizzy" Betty complained rolling her eyes
"I'm trying my best to look for an exit.. So shush" Cindy hissed
"So now you're motivated to escape... I remember the first day we got here you seem hesistant to do so" Betty said with venom
"Betty can you just shut up? " Cindy said more than ask with a death glare. Betty then sighed.
"They have guards outside as well I don't think we can escape them" Betty said standing up. Cindy then looked at libby who's fast asleep.
"We can... The reason why we weren't able to escape is because of my hesitation so why won't you just let me this time? So i can redeem myself?" Cindy said with a sigh. Betty looked at the despaired blonde and nods her head.
"I'm sorry about earlier.. I just got scared, I thought they're going to pull the trigger right there and then. You shouldn't have heard that and I want to let you know that you deserve to live as well.. It was low for me to say it" Betty said looking down then back up and Cindy just sighed and gave her a small smile.
"Look, its bound to happen. We sometimes say things we don't mean in situations like that. And at least I now know what my parents are hiding from me. It hurts but it will heal... I mean my dad may not be my real dad. But he is the only dad I know so we're still family. I'm a Vortex since birth and nothing would ever change that" Cindy said putting her right hand on betty's shoulder.
"Why are you being so nice after what I've done to you?" Betty asked with scrunched eyebrows. Making Cindy chuckle.
"I don't know.. Ask neutron that.. He infected me with that" She said with glimmer in her eyes but suddenly it turned dark once again.
"You never think anyway. Just get away from me, I can't believe I even call you my best friend, I don't want to see you ever again" Jimmy said sternly...
She keep on seeing his disappointed, anger filled eyes.
"But I guess I'm really just too much to handle that he given up on me" Cindy said sighing
"Cindy it is my fault.. Your fight with him. I'm pretty sure he didn't mean all those words he said" Betty explained
"No Betty, He did mean it this time. I can see pure hatred and honesty in his eyes. No regret. I've been mean to him and now he just can't handle me anymore. He gave up on me" Tears started forming in her eyes "Do you want to know what he asked me to do, his last words to me that night?! HE TOLD ME TO GET AWAY FROM HIM!! TO LEAVE HIM ALONE!! TO NEVER SHOW MY FACE TO HIM EVER AGAIN!! " Cindy yelled waking Libby up stumbling towards her
"Cin, cin Calm down.. What is happening? " Libby asked glaring at Betty
"So if I were you, I'd change right away before everyone leaves you behind" Cindy said walking towards the corner lying down. Betty and Libby stood in the center watching the girl sob with pity.
