Chapter 8

We are almost done with the race. Just one more puzzle then we're finished.

We're here at here at the center of the labyrinth. Okay. Just by looking at the multiple pathways my mind malfunctions. And what the hell we are doing here? Is this related to Science also?

"Okay, everyone! As you can see we are inside this giant labyrinth. In this challenge, we will test your analysis and teamwork. You just need to get out from this maze as a team. And the losing team will face the consequence" Wendy just waved her hand as she grabs the timer.

"You may start, NOW!"

As soon as the timer started we run. But I, being the slowest was being dragged by Seulgi.

"So what's the plan? You know we just can't run and run. We need to get out of here." I suggested since none of them really mind and they keep on running.

"Yes. We need to plan this thing out." Seulgi agreed to me.

So we stopped and stare at each other. But of course, I'm still glaring at Mark. Like duh.

"You know, I'll be honest. I don't really have an idea of how to out from here." Donghyuck said while rubbing his nape. How cute.

"Me too actually." Seulgi raised her hands shyly.

"Oh gosh. I didn't sign up for this. Really guys? You obviously know that I don't also have an idea of how this maze even works." Facepalm. That was enough to describe the momentum. Really.

"Mark I know you're a total jerk but please tell me you know how we can get out of here." I was really praying hard. I don't want to rot in this maze.

"I--- I actually don't know either."

And there was it. We're so dead.

"You know we don't need to know this thing. Really. We'll just try     

to figure out how to escape from this hell. Let's just think simple. Like trying all the possible ways of this maze. Let's just keep something that can mark or like a sign that we already checked this out." I said confusingly. You know I'm not really good at explaining.

And yeah. They are so confused. I sighed very deep.

"You know guys. Just like Hansel and Gretel did? You got it? Yeah. That was I was saying." I looked at them. Great. They got it. I could see how their faces brighten up.

"You're really smart Cathy!" Seulgi hugged me tightly.

"Stop bear hugging me Seul! I'm choking!" She immediately let go of me.

"Okay so let's start!" Donghyuck hopped happily as he leads the way

We already started walking until I realized Mark fckng Lee was still there. Standing like a statue.

"Mark! Let's hurry up!" Seulgi yelled.

"You know Cathy's plan will take us the whole day right? And we need to get out from here as soon as possible."

Okay, that was rude. Mark will always be rude.

"So you're saying that?" I looked at him like I was encouraging him to continue. I know my plan is so broad and I don't really mind if he thinks that his plan is so much better than mine. But screw him.

"So I was saying that let's be logical. Let's calculate everything and get out of here." Okay? I don't understand him.

"You know Mark I don't understand. What do you mean by that?" Oh. I thought I was only who can't understand Mark, Donghyuck also.
