Third Person's
Jaehyun arrived at the nearest hospital. As soon as he managed to put Cathy to the stretcher and the doctors are already treating her cuts and wounds, he grabbed his phone and dialed Yuta – his friend.
"Man where are you?! I heard your class got into an accident in the lab. Are you okay? Where are---"
"Yuta I'm fine. I'm here in the hospital---"
"What the fck man?! Why are you in the hospital?!" Jaehyun cut Yuta.
"I brought a uhm a friend here. Geez! Stop asking questions! Go get me here!" He hung up and irritatingly sits in the nearest bench.
He ruffles his hair. Frustrated and confused.
Why am I helping her?! Why did I fckng return to that damn lab right the moment I never saw her shadow with her friends! She has her friends that can protect and help her, why did I do that?!
He again ruffles his hair as there are millions of questions that still unanswered. Why. That's the hardest question that's playing in his mind right now.
He hung his head down, waiting for the doctors.
After several minutes he heard the door creaked open.
"Doc, where is she now?" Jaehyun asked the doctor unable to hide the hint of care from his tone.
"Did you bring the patient here? Well, she's fine now. There are countless of cuts in her body and the broken glasses that are buried in her skin have been already detached. But we put a bandage in her both hands since it's a very sensitive now especially in her palms. You don't need to worry. She's fine now." The doctor looked at him and smiled.
"If you want to go inside her room you can. She's awake" The doctor then leave as he gave his reassuring smile to the young man.
All did Jaehyun do was to nod his head as he utters his thanks and heave a relieved sigh after hearing what the doctor said.
He walked slowly and entered the room.
There. She saw Cathy. Lifeless and lost as she continues to stare the white ceiling. She didn't even notice that Jaehyun already sat to the chair beside her bed.
"Are you now alright?" asked Jaehyun that makes her jolt in surprised as she was unaware in her surroundings.
"Y-you're still here?" She looked at him confused but she feels somewhat safe with him.
"Of course. You still haven't say Thank you." He flashes his bright smile and was surprised. Surprised to the fact that his smile radiates not only happiness but also warmth.
"T-thank you" She hung her head low as embarrassment hits her.
Embarrassed that Jaehyun saw her at her lowest state. Embarrassed that Jaehyun was the one who helped her. Embarrassed that even if he cussed him, he was the one who picked her up. Embarrassed to the fact she is bright as a strawberry right now in front of him.
