[Criptin cottage]
My name is Genesis, I live with my house masters, Mr and Mrs Grace. I am a housemaid working for the Grace family and I definitely don't enjoy this work. However it's my only means of survival as I have no where else to go. Mr and Mrs Grace also have daughter called Sarah. Right now she's on her way back home from university in the city Usao. I wish I could go to school but the Grace's won't let me of course, I'm just a maid and Sarah is their child, there's a massive difference between us. I've been in this house since I was 10 after my mother died and the Grace's let me stay but I know it's because they needed someone to help take care of the house. Well here I am after seven years sweeping, wiping and cleaning. I'm 17 now and to be honest life isn't as great for me like all the 17 year olds out there. Since I've been with the Grace's I've been treated sourly by the family. Especially Sarah and her mum who have a habit of treating me like rubbish. Thats the reason for my happiness when Sarah left to go to school at 15.
Meanwhile three people entered the Criptin cottage, and the Grace's dragged Sarah's suitcase as if she were royalty.
I quickly got up and headed downstairs after doing Sarah's bed. I welcomed Sarah and she replied with a scowl. While she went to the kitchen and asked me for a drink I remembered the cupboard door in Sarah's room was still open. After recalling how picky and angry she gets at the smallest things
I served her drink and gently rushed upstairs.

Even more spotless I gave the bedside tables an extra wipe just as I was doing that she walked in...
She looked at my face with a scowl as usual, and walked towards me.
"Nothing has changed in this house especially your ugly face" she said, so close to my face that I could feel her spit landing on my pores. I gave her a polite smile and asked "Is there anything you need, if not May I leave". After a few minutes, She rolled her eyes and walked past me stepping on my feet "yes leave! I can't stand the sight of you".
Hearing that I quickly limped away not wanting to ignite her wrath.
