Kaiya jerked awake hearing gun fire and instantly ran out, ignoring the pain in her body, following the sound of gunfire she found herself in the same room were Winter Soldier was restrained, bodies littered the floor, not too far away Winter Soldier was fighting a soldier before finally killing them, she stood there before walking towards him. He turned and faced her, he didn't see a hint of fear which set him on edge again, "Winter..." She paused, glanced away, then looked at him, "No, you're a human, and I'm calling you Sebastian."

Winter Soldier stared at her, "Why? I'm only a soldier, nothing more nothing less." He said, Kaiya watched as his body relaxed, and he seemed to grow confused as the knife in his hand fell, she was standing only inches from him at this point, "Seb, you are a human being," She placed her hand on his shoulder, he tensed, not used to the gentle touch, "Regardless how you were made or what your story is, you have a heart, you have blood, that's enough for me to see you as a human being, regardless what you did."

Right as she said those words, she had a flashback, the screams of her father trying to tell her to leave, the gunfire, the thuds of his technology lab going up in fire, and the screams of them as fire and smoke engulfed her senses. Winter Soldier, now named Sebastian looked at her, before looking down, he could see the pain behind her eyes, he remembered her, she looked him dead in the eye, he knew she didn't remember but he did, the pain and fear that lingered in her eyes, yet her stance was ready for battle. She made him stop in his tracks, as guilt overwhelmed him, knowing he just took her entire world from her, but as the fire engulfed them he instantly shoved the feelings aside and jumped out the window, going back to the cold heartless killer he was.

Kaiya looked at him and grabbed his metal hand, he went to jerk away but she only tightened her grip, "We are getting out of here, let's go." Sebastian stared at her, nodded and went back to his cell grabbing the leather jacket and putting it on as they left, as soon as they walked outside, Kaiya was hit but the Russian winter cold winds, making her tense, her breathing put off as she gained a grip of herself, looking around all she saw was a snowy landscape, she looked to Sebastian, and he glanced to her, once again he was unfazed, but he saw Kaiya struggling to embrace the cold, thinking for a moment he removed his jacket and handed it to her once again leaving him shirtless heading to the nearest vehicle, leaving Kaiya looking at him then the jacket, wondering how the weather didn't faze him.

As he approached a vehicle, when he tried to open it and it didn't work he shot the lock out, and got inside, Kaiya eventually got in with him after getting the jacket to keep her warm since it only had one sleeve, and it was way too big for her. She looked at Sebastian, "How the fuck is this coldness not bothering you?" She asked unable to help it, as he started driving towards the city he looked at her, "My bodily temperature is modified, when I'm deployed or in the mindset to kill or take down, my body temperature drops to 1.5 degrees, but when I'm relaxed, or in my...cell...my bodily temp can range from between 124.5 to 126.5." He explained making Kaiya stare him. "The only time I can really feel any external temperature is my arm, the cold makes it difficult to move." Kaiya found herself wishing she was on his left side, wanting to stroke his metal arm.

Sebastian drove, as Kaiya had went in the back and laid down, using Sebastian's jacket as a blanket, he had stopped and found a black under armour shirt and put it on. It clung to him, bringing out his broad shoulders and showed every muscle move in his arm and back. He looked to the sleeping Kaiya, who was curled up like a kitten, he sat across from her, and stared at her, not as an assassin, but as a broken man, who's memories flooded his mind before he could stop them.

"The man on the bridge...I knew him..." The man in front of him sat there before back handing the soldier in front of him, who was lost in a daze and was questioning everything he knew, "He was trying to kill you, you really think a friend will do that, you may think you know him, but you don't." He said standing, "Prep him." He said, a scientist looked at him, "He's been out of cryo for too long." The man looked at him, "Then wipe him and start over." Was all he said walking out, he was given a mouth guard before being forced to lean back, the chair he sat in restraining his arms and legs as it came to life, the machine wiping his memories as his screams echoed through the room.

"You are a failure!! You was supposed to kill him, not beat him to an inch of life Soldier!!" He was staring at the ground, his handler yelling at him, "I couldn't finish the mission sir..there would have been witnesses." The handler stepped forward, his knife in hand, "Then you should have killed them after you killed Nick!!" One slash, "We gave you your abilities for a fucking purpose, and yet you still fail Soldier!!" Two slashes, then three, then four, it wasn't long till he was dragged back to his cell and left to bleed unconscious on his floor.

"Sergeant. 32557..." James Buchanan Barnes had gone through another sleepless night, reciting his army identification, a solder walked in and shoved the barrel of his gun it to James' gut, making him gag as he fell off then bed into the floor, were he was grabbed and dragged into a room, where he was tortured and beaten, Hydra attempting to break him, it was year 19, and still he fought against them- "Seb?" Winter looked around and saw Kaiya in the farthest corner, "It's time to wake up, you're body is cold, and your metal arm is twitching." She walked towards him, "You're ok now." She stood by the table he was on and started stroking his hair, "Come back to me."

Sebastian jerked awake and went to grab who was next to him, his metal arm whiring as he sprung into action, but when his arm got the person, they hissed in pain making him realize it was just Kaiya. He slowly retracted his arm and she looked at him, "I saw your dreams...you're James...James Buchanan Barnes..." He looked down, "I used to be, he's gone, just like with you and Pandora, except unlike her I didn't have free will, I never have, I was always under control. But James, he fought back, that's why they always used me, but it was taking small chips from him, but after so long, he had a mental snap, Hydra took advantage, triggered me...and it permanently made James...die..." He explained, Kaiya reached for his metal hand but he jerked it away.

Kaiya sighed, "Sebastian, everything that happened wasn't your fault, you was under control and-" Sebastian jerked up and grabbed an assault rifle, "Seb?" He glanced back to her before running out, "Sebastian!" He slammed the door shut on her, locking her inside, Kaiya grew panicked and tried to find a way out before looking out the rear view window, he was standing on guard, holding the rifle in front of him.

Kaiya looked ahead and saw vehicles approaching, and she knew it was more men than what Sebastian could take on, making her look more. Sebastian had gone to the Winter Soldier mindset, the wind swaying his hair in his face, the men surrounded him as they came to a stop, all Kaiya heard was shouting in Russian and the soft thud of a gun on the snow, determined not to lose him she punched the window, the glass shattering in one hit as she jumped out and climbed onto the roof of the car, Sebastian looked at her as everyone's attention went to her.

Sebastian noticed the tattoo start bleeding, though it traveled to her hand and her hand clenched, her eyes changing, for a moment he thought Pandora was coming through but it was still Kaiya, she looked to the soldiers that surrounded them, "You have one chance to leave..." They just readied their guns and she leaned her head back, her hand opening in front of her and a Desert Eagle Mark IIV formed in her hand before she aimed and fired, they went to fire back only for black smoke to surround her and Sebastian, the bullets hitting the smoke either fell or deflected and hit their shooters, slowly the sound of gunfire seized and the smoke faded into the shadows of the quickly coming dusk.
