"You can't do this."
Vivien shook her head, taking the gun from Ben's hand.
After Ben had learned his wife and children were dead he couldn't stand it, he was going to give the baby to Vivien's sister and then kill himself.
That was until Vivien stopped him.
"Vivien,"
Ben gaped with tears in his eyes.
"I knew you were here. Why didn't you come to me?"
"It would just make it worse. I want you to take the baby and go."
Vivien tried to convince him.
"Just let me do it. Then we can be together."
Ben cried.
"No, no. That baby needs a father, Ben."
Vivien told him sternly.
"I'm not his father. You know it, and I know it."
Ben sighed lighting a cigarette.
"He's my baby, and you shouldn't be smoking.
I don't really care where it came from. I would give anything if I could take care-"
"Vivien, I am so sorry for everything I put you through."
Ben cried, the twins watching the scene unfold.
"I want you to hear me. I forgive you.
So enough with the drama and the tragedy.
We've had enough in this family. We've had enough.
And the one spot of light that there is, is that baby asleep upstairs. That's your opportunity to do something different. I want you to take the baby, and I want you to leave this house and I want you to never come back."
Vivien told Ben, not giving him another option.
"Your sister said she would take care of him. She's a good mother."
Ben sighed out tiredly.
"No, I don't want that."
"What do you want?"
"I want to envision you with that boy on your shoulders walking down Newbury Street."
Vivien told him as the twins took a seat on his couch.
"What about the twins?"
Ben asked worriedly as the two appeared beside him.
"What about the twins?"
They asked in sync, looking up at their dad.
"We're teenagers, not exactly a cakewalk."
Violet grinned as Ben kneeled down in front of them.
"Violet, Ember."
Ben whispered, resting a hand on each twin.
"What kind of father have I been? You two weren't eating, you weren't going to school, you guys were already gone and I didn't see it."
Ben shook his head as Ember frowned.
"We shut you out. We didn't want to hurt you."
Ember told him resting a hand on his dad's shoulder.
"I miss you two. So much."
Ben told them shakily.
"Hey now you don't have to pay for us to go to college."
Ember grinned as Ben shook his head.
"We would've dropped out, saved you a shit ton of money."
Violet smirked as Ben chuckled softly.
"Yeah, you guys did."
"You need to leave dad."
Ember told him seriously.
"Every minute you're in this house you and that baby are in trouble."
Violet agreed.
Vivien walked over, taking Ben's hands and pulling him to stand.
"Please. Do it for us."And Ben did try to leave, but the other ghosts in the house wouldn't let him.
He died like everyone else that entered the house.|
"They're moving in."
Ember told his twin, the two sat on the stairs as they watched the new family's son look around.
"Not if we can help it.""Who are you?"
The boy asked the twins, Ember laying across his bed as Violet messed with his stereo.
"You have awful taste in music."
Violet teased him as ember chuckled hopping off the bed.
"And awful fashion sense."
Ember gave the boy a once over, not impressed with what he saw.
"Hello? Breaking and entering. Who are you?"
"Ghosts."
Ember smirked as Violet rolled her eyes.
"I'm Violet, that's Ember. We live in the neighborhood."
Violet shook the boy's hand as Ember paced around the room.
"Your hands cold."
"She's cold blooded."
Ember snickered as Violet punched him in the shoulder.
Ember rolled his eyes knocking over the boy's CDs.
"Yo! Get out of my room!"
The boy gaped.
"You sure?"
Ember bit his lip as he took a step closer to the boy.
"You want to be here alone? This house is haunted."
Ember chuckled as Violet shoved him lightly.
"Oh come on don't scare him Em."
"You guys are twisted."
The boy shook his head.
"You don't know the half of it."
The twins smirked.
"Ember."
Violet told him worriedly.
Ember glanced to where his sister was looking, a sigh falling past his lips as he caught sight of Tate.
"Later."
Ember smirked leaving the boy's room as Violet followed.
Leaving the boy behind confused.|
"Tate. Stop it."
Ember sighed tiredly as he walked into the boy's room.
Tate had a knife pressed to the kids throat.
"I'm doing this for you."
Tate cried as Ember rolled his eyes.
"I couldn't save you. It's my fault you're alone."
"I'm not alone. My family is here-"
"It's not enough. You need someone."
Tate told Ember, not letting the boy go.
"Not him Tate."
Ember shook his head as Tate turned to him.
"Then what do you want?"
Tate shouted as Ember's face fell.
"What I wanted was you."
Ember glared as Tate slowly turned around, tears in his eyes.
"Y-You told me to go away."
"I did, but I didn't get a goodbye."
Ember slowly walked closer to Tate, grabbing his hand and pulling him into a long kiss.
As Ember kissed Tate he waved his hand frantically, signaling the boy to run.
When Ember knew the boy was gone he pulled away with a sigh.
"Goodbye Tate."The Harmon's walked to the front door together, watching as the family raced off the property.
Ben wrapped his arm around his wife and kids as they all watched the car pull away.
"Some other poor family is going to move in here."
Vivien sighed.
"And we'll get to play evil ghosts for a night."
Ember grinned as his family laughed. The Harmon's swearing to never let and innocent family die in Murder House, ever again.
