(3rd P.O.V)
"Hold still, ya little-"
"No!"
A scraggly old man was chasing a small boy around with a wet rag, in a dark cave that was filled with various supplies. Mostly things like worn of bowls and other bits of broken bits.
"You're filthy you little pest, ya have to wipe down."
"I don't care, I hate the rag!" the boy whined
The old man just sneered. "Don't wanna get clean huh? So are you saying you wanna start acting like a real goblin?" The boy went silent. "Cuz let me tell ya, those little devils don't care a bit about hygiene and if you start acting like them you'll-"
"Ok, ok... fine." The small boy who had green skin and pointy ears came forward.
"Much better." The old man started to wipe him down and clean him. This was Y/N, well not yet anyway, since this old man would simply went by the name Burglar, just called him Goblin Boy.
Burglar found Y/N very quickly after he was tossed to the side by a goblin. Goblin Boy was an extremely rare oddity. Normally when goblins do their horrific actions to reproduce the goblins come out all, vicious and pointy nosed and ready for life really quickly, but not him. He was way more human like apart from the ears and skin and it was this very reason he was tossed to the side. In other words, he was a mistake in its purest form.
Burglar wasn't particularly the nicest to Goblin Boy. He wasn't physically abusive but he often called him names and was quick to temper around him. That being said, he was the only person that Goblin Boy knew that was willing to take care of and accept him. As he learned today.

(Earlier that same day)
Goblin Boy was staring out from behind a tree. He was watching some children from a nearby village frolic and play together. He longed to play with them but Burglar always said, "Once the village gets a good look at ya, they'll scream and curse you from hear to kingdom come. Keep away from them."
Goblin Boy refuses to believe it, he wanted to feel like he'd be accepted, he wanted to be apart of their world so different from his. He peered out from behind the tree a little more to get a closer look. At one point one of the children could see him peeking from behind the tree. "Hey look at that." A boy pointed to were Goblin Boy was hiding. He sunk deeper into his hiding spot. He didn't know what to do he just stayed there frozen.
"It looks like a boy." a girl said.
"But he looks... green?" another boy commented. The children gathered together and had a look.
"Whoooooa, look at his ears? You think he's an elf?" The children, being still in their early days hadn't seen much of goblins and just assumed he was some kind of green elf.
"Hey what's your name kid?" one of them asked.
This caught Goblin Boy off guard. He didn't want to refer to himself as what Burglar calls him. "Uh, I-... I-"
"Ah it dosent matter." said a boy. "Hey kid you wanna play tag with us?"
"Tag?"
"Yeah tag. You've never played tag before." he shook his head no. "Ohoho... we gotta fix that. Here come on out we'll teach you, it real easy.
Goblin Boy picked up on the rules real quickly, he started to play with the other kids and he never felt so alive. There was something about this that just felt exhilarating. However after a few minutes of fun it all came to a halt as a blood curling scream was heard from them.
