Tiffany
I smiled, remembering what happened two days ago. It's not my intention to stay with them at that night but I guess, I made a right decision. I got to spend more time with Siyeon. We talked and played with each other until midnight.
But I also have to admit that I had become more comfortable with Jungkook. Compare to when we first met, he's now became more softer with me. I noticed how he will always try to start a conversation with me these days.
A sound of ringtone from my phone startled me as I back to my sense. I read the message and a small smile made it way to my face as I quickly stood up while looking around at the airport.
I grinned the moment my eyes land on her. She looks very different and I almost didn't recognize her if she didn't waved her hand at me.
"Hyeri ah, I miss you." I said when she threw her body on me, hugging me tightly while burying her face on my shoulder.
"I miss my bestfriend so much." She spoke with her angelic voice. A voice that made almost all of the male students in highschool fell in love with her.
I chuckled and pinched her cheeks softly while scanning her from up to toe. She became more taller and skinny. I took a look at her face and I smiled. Her pale skin with a little touch of makeup on her face made she looks like a doll. A living doll.
"Yah, what are you staring at?" She talked making I quickly shook my head and told her that I was adoring her beauty at that time. She just chuckled and asked me to lead the way to go to the car.
—
"Why are you bringing me here? Atleast let me take a rest first." She rolled her eyes when she noticed that I brought her to our favourite place that we always hang out.
I ignored her and inhaled the fresh air while looking at the river infront of me. "Yah, Tiffany. Bring me–"
She stopped in the middle of talking while staring at someone infront of her with her mouth hanging open. I can't help but chuckled before I looked at Taehyung who was smiling while holding a cake.
"Welcome back, Bae Hyeri." Taehyung oppa said making Hyeri blinked her eyes repeatly without even moving from her place. My brother chuckled and walked towards her before put his index finger under Hyeri's chin. "Close your mouth."
I shook my head playfully. I knew Hyeri must be missing Taehyung a lot as she always told me that she can't wait to go home and meet Taehyung.
And I guessed it right when Hyeri took a step forward and wrapped both of her arms around Taehyung oppa's neck, hugging him tightly yet gently.
"You promised me 4 years ago that you will visit me when I studied at England. I keep waiting for you. Every single day." I heard she said and I took this chance to walk away from them, letting them to talk with each other.
It's very obvious to everyone that Hyeri really loves Taehyung but even how many times I told him that, he didn't believe it. He will always say that they are only bestfriends.
Bestfriends can't like or love each other.
I didn't want Hyeri to has a high hope. She's waiting for Taehyung, even until now. I thought that she might find someone when she studied abroad but then, Taehyung is the only one that she loves.
I sighed. It's no use if I help Hyeri to win my brother's heart because I knew that he only loves Sky. He only thought Hyeri as his bestfriend only. Nothing more than that.
"Hey, let's eat the cake together." Hyeri patted my shoulder and I turned around only to see Taehyung oppa already sitting on a mat. I nodded, making my way towards him.
"Why don't we stay here a little longer? Until night? Like usual." Hyeri suggested but Taehyung oppa quickly shook his head, saying that he need to go home early today.
"But why? You're living with Fany. I thought that your parent is okay with it?" I scratched my nape, didn't know how to answer this question.
"I didn't live with my parent anymore. I already have my own responsible now." He said with his lips twitched, trying hard not to smile.
He's talking about Sky but since Hyeri didn't know anything about him and Sky, she keep forcing him to stay longer since he's living alone right now so no one will look for him.
"No, I can't. I didn't like going home late. Right Fany?" He asked me making I hesitantly nodded. I keep asking myself why am I here right now with both of them.
I saw how my brother's expression changed the moment Hyeri held his hand. She pleaded him with her eyes and keep asking him to stay with her.
"Hyeri ah. You know right that I didn't like being forced? I told you I've my own responsible now. Besides, I've a meeting to attend tomorrow. I need to finish my work first." He said, making Hyeri stopped talking.
I understood what he said. He want to finish his works quickly so that he can spend time with Sky. It's easy to read him.
He took out his phone from his pocket and quickly stood up. "I'm already late.–" I looked up when I heard he stopped talking.
"Can you atleast spend time with me? It's my first day here. My first day meeting you after 4 years but you're leaving already?" Hyeri asked while holding his wrist tightly.
I bit my lips, didn't know how to deal in this situation.
Taehyung oppa looked at his phone once again and shook his head to Hyeri. I took a glance at his phone and saw what made him eagerly want to go home. A wallpaper of Sky and him together.
"I'm sorry Hyeri."
Those are the last words he said before he pulled his hand away from Hyeri and dashed towards his car. I looked at Hyeri and saw she was staring blankly on the ground.
How would Hyeri react if she knew that Taehyung is in love with someone else?
—
I closed my mouth while yawning after took a nap earlier. Throwing the blanket away from my body, I dragged my feet out of the room and made my way to the kitchen.
"Smell good. Did you cook something?" I asked Mingyu oppa while grabbing a glass of water.
"Already wake up? I cooked you some foods for today's lunch." He smiled before continued his task.
I checked my phone and my eyebrows knitted when I saw a message from Taehyung.
"I love you sister! I went home exactly at 10 p.m. last night. I got to spend time with Sky by having a cup of ramyeon while watching movie together."
I made a face while reading his text. I had to wheedle Hyeri by giving a lot of excuses so that she won't call or text Taehyung knowing he didn't want to be disturbed last night.
"Why? Who is that?" I looked at Mingyu and shook my head before I went closer to him.
"It's Taehyung oppa." His facial expression changed when I mentioned Taehyung's name. I sighed and leaned my hips against the counter.
"I don't want to hear his name in my house." He said and I rolled my eyes to him.
"But he's my brother too." I defended Taehyung and I regretted what I said right after that. "I'm sorry. But I just didn't want to look at my brothers argued with each other."
I said honestly, hoping that he'll understand but as usual, he'll ignore it. Not only him, but Taehyung too. They can't even stand hearing to each other's name and it's making me sick.
"Arasseo, I won't say his name infront of you." I pouted and helped him by making the drink.
"Wait! I don't want the chocolate drink. Make me a latte." He told me making I raised my eyebrows. Since when did he interested with coffee? I thought that his favourite drink is chocolate. I shrugged my shoulder and continued to do the latte while trying to ignore the smile on his face that suddenly appeared just now.
