Chapter 14

Taehyung

I wipe off the dust on my camera before placed it neatly on the table. Walking out from the room, I decided to clean my art gallery first before heading back to my apartment. A warm smile made it way to my face, feeling proud because it has been almost 1 year since I opened this art gallery.

Being a photographer is definitely my dream but because of my father, I can't pursue my dream and only takes picture for fun. I was really devastated back then when my father insist that I should study in business field.

Even how much I told him I didn't have any interest in business, he won't listen and ended up registering my name under a major business in a private university. I successfully graduated but I never stop telling my mom about how much I want to be a photographer.

And with my mother's support, I finally came up with a decision to open an art gallery by myself. My younger sister helped me a lot and she won't stop supporting me by giving me a lot of advices. It was gloomy at first but as time goes by, this art gallery received it's own recognition.

A lot of people started to come here and some of them which are mostly wedding couples requested for a wedding filming and photographing which I gladly accepted. And now, I already have 3 workers here helping me because I still have to go back to my office sometimes.

After done cleaning the whole gallery, I went home to get a rest after working all day today. I was about to head to my room but when I saw Sky was walking towards her room, I quickly called her name, stopping her from walking. "Do you've a work to do right now? If not, can you accompany me to go to the market? We need some groceries but I don't really know what should I buy?"

I scratched my nape, feeling anxious when she looked at me. She nodded and a sigh of relief escaped my lips because she agreed to accompany me eventhough she looks kind of tired now. "Sure. I'm free right now."

Nodding my head, I gestured her to walk first as I locked the door of my aparment before we walked towards the elevator. When she was looking down or looking away, I'll always take a glance at her and my lips won't stop curving a smile. How lucky I am because she's here with me after 2 years suffering in finding her.

I drove us to the nearest market because it's already late now and I worried that she might be tired or sleepy. Pushing the cart, I turned my head to look at her with a smile plastered on my face. "What should we buy?"

She pouted and my heart became weak looking at how adorable is her right now. "I think we need more vegetables and some other ingredients also–." She suddenly stop talking making my head snapped to look at her, wondering why did she stopped.

I followed her gaze and noticed that she was eyeing something. "Waa, chocolate lava cake." She muttered under her breath but I heard it, making I smiled noticing how her eyes shimmering with a wide smile on her face.

"Uhh, I'm sorry. I mean we also need chicken and meat." She quickly said while looking down on her feets before she turned around and walked towards another aisle while pushing the cart.

I chuckled before my eyes fell on the chocolate lava cake that she's eyeing before. "Is it her favourite? I should grab some and make a stock at home." I smiled happily before I took a handful of its and walked towards her before put it in the cart.

"Chicken and meat. Which one do you like the most?" I asked her by talking comfortably with her so that she won't feel awkward going out with me. I looked at her and noticed that she was looking at the chocolate lava cake that I brought earlier.

"I loves meat. Why?" She replied before pointed her index finger to the cake. "You love this cake that much? You bought so many of its." She raised her eyebrows while asking me innocently.

So she loves meat. I turned around as I grabbed some pack of meats before put it in the cart. "This cake? Not really but I just randomly buy it. If you like, you can have some of it." I grinned widely knowing that she'll like it.

"Uhh, it's okay. I'll just buy it from you if I want." She cleared her throat after said that making I frowned. When will you trust me? I willingly want to help you. I didn't want to take an advantage on you.

"Alright. I think that we should head home now. It's already late." I suggested after we already grabbed everything that we need and she nodded, agreeing with me before both of us walked towards the cashier with me pushing the cart eventhough she insist that it's her duty as a maid.

After arrived, I decided to arrange the things first before going to sleep so that she didn't has many works to do tomorrow if I helped her already since she looks really tired. She'll wake up early in the morning to cook the breakfast for me and quickly left for her work. When she went back home, she'll cook the dinner and do the house chores without taking a rest.

"Let me do it. You can take a rest first." She said before helped me to arrange the things neatly on the cabinet.

"Why would I let you do the stuff alone? I'll help you." I smiled sweetly while looking at her face when she was arranging the fresh groceries in the fridge. She looks so fragile making I want to protect her from this cruel world.

The loneliness that I felt before, now has been replaced with happiness after living under the same roof with her. "Here." I turned around as soon as I heard her soft voice beside me, handing me the packet of ramyun. I can't breath for a second as my heart insanely pounding against my chest when I looked at her close up face.

Her shape pointed nose, her large innocent eyes and her flawless skin, it's all enough to make my heart rate increase within a second. "Thankyou. You can have a rest now. Besides, you need to go for your work tomorrow or else you'll feel tired."

I spoke softly and I bit my lips when I saw how her eyes was looking at me right now. A pair of beautiful eyes but filled with sadness and secrets. She thanked me before bowed and walked away, heading towards her room. At that moment, I want to secure her in my warm embrace and tell her that everything is going to be fine.

"I hope you'll be fine. Don't worry, I'll always be with you, standing close to you." I whispered to myself while smiling eventhough my heart was tightening at that moment when I saw how she looked sad earlier.
